What's next?
The night life at the bar with no name
Stepping out of the portal from Krakoa into the night life of New York city, Raven smiled as she made her way out of the park and to the nearest street to call up a taxi. Sitting at the back seat, it made her grin to see the driver reposition his rearview mirror to get a view of her and whistle under his breath.
Why wouldn’t he?
The leggy supermodel of a woman leaned back in her seat and hugged herself in a way that showed off the impressive cleavage in her white silk cocktail dress. Fluttering her emerald, green eyes, the gorgeous woman pursed her lips into a smile, then flipped her long wavy black hair with the same iconic grace as any fashion idol.
“See anything you like handsome?” She cooed, tilting her shoulder in a coy gesture.
“Where would you like to go ma’am?” The cabbie asked with a bit of a stutter, still gobsmacked by her beauty. He nearly sweat bullets when she sat up in a way that her chest pressed up against the back of his head, and she presented a hundred dollar bill between her fingers to wiggle in front of him like a treat.
“Take me to the bar with no name, YOU know the place.” She whispered into his ear seductively. “The type of place a REAL woman can have the night of her life.”
Taking the money and turning off his meter, the cabbie pulled out of the street while his passenger fasten her seatbelt and leaned back to watch the traffic drive by.
“W-will do lady, but are you sure? That place can be a real snake’s den.” The Cabbie stopped at a red light and hesitated to look over his shoulder. “I hear some pretty nasty folks go to that bar, even supervillains. I’m just worried b-because you don’t look the type to go there.”
Hugging herself again and retaining her sultry smirk the entire time, Mystique gave the driver a leer that made him gulp.
“Oh you won’t have to worry about that big guy, tonight I’M the scariest thing out here in the city. Now drive.”
Nodding rapidly, the driver hit the gas as soon as there was a green light to let him head out to his passenger’s desired location. Sitting back, Mystique could only chuckle to herself. Oh yes, she felt amazing! And right now she wanted to celebrate in what she felt was going to be the dawn of a new her.
She couldn’t wait.

Stepping out of the cab when she reached her destination, Raven blew the driver a kiss and made her way up to the entrance where she found an imposing bouncer at the front of the doors. Making a pose with a tilt of her heel, the redhaired beauty fluttered her eyes and looked up at the man.
“Hey there big guy, can a girl step inside to wet her whistle?”
Looking down at the gorgeous bombshell, the man squared his shoulders and chin, sneering down at her.
“Beat it toots, only high rollers are allowed in THIS establishment.”
Leaning her head back with her smile widening, Mystique approached the man until they were almost half a foot away from each other.
“High roller huh?” She purred with a velvety smooth voice, playfully bringing her hand up to let her fingers walk up his buttoned shirt until they reached his tie. He was about to act when she grabbed him by the throat with inhuman strength and pulled him down so quickly to see her face to face, he thought he heard his knees and back crack from being put in such an uncomfortable position. At that moment, Mystique’s smile faded, and her skin turned an ocean blue, her eyes going solid yellow. At that moment the bouncer realised who he was talking to. “Open the door and I won’t have to roll YOU!”
Letting the man go, he rapidly got to his feet, cleaned himself up and graciously opened the door with as much pomp and civility as he could offer the woman.
“W-w-welcome to the Bar with no Name Myst…”
“Shhhhhh…” Mystique hushed him with a finger to the divot of his lip, stepping across the threshold of the bar. “No names… Remember?”
Making her way inside, Mystique’s grin reached ear to ear. All around her she could see the lowest of the low drinking, eating, listening to music or playing billiards and darts. At the bar she could see half a dozen local goons and thugs drinking their night away watching a sporting event, toasting when a touchdown reached the end of the field, while nearby a supervillain laughed, surrounded by high class hookers fawning over his every action.
A den of scum and villainy… And she felt right at home.
Making her way deeper inside, already she garnered attention from everyone in the bar, some even giving off a whistle or two or whispered out a cat call as she settle herself at a table in the heart of it all and sat down, leaning back in her chair with her leg crossed over the other. Not too long afterwards, she was approached by a waitress with a menu. Before the impressed woman could open her mouth, Raven raised a hand to catch her attention.
“Give me bourbon on the rocks and leave the bottle and get me three steak dinners. Rare.”
“Three?” The waitress blinked. Looking towards the bar’s door. “Are you expecting company?”
“No kitten, this tigress is just hungry, and she wants a REAL meal to toast her new beginning.”
