Finally, dinner

Finally it seemed like dinner was ready, and people started arriving at the kitchen to get their plates. Even Ashley showed up, as she was really getting hungry by now, and didn't want anyone to carry a plate to her room.

She knew it was mistake though as she entered the kitchen, and found both Vicky and Gavin giving her worried glances. And then there was Brandon, who looked like he'd barely noticed she'd gone missing... And Kurt, who grinned at her like an idiot - like he actually thought she'd give him a second chance to be alone with her.

She was thankful that nobody tried to ask her any difficult questions at least, and hurried finishing her dinner before excusing herself and headed for the loo. Some of the others seemed to think she was merely a bit sick or something, and wouldn't bother her much. Only Vicky looked like she'd want to talk to her about it, but wisely decided to leave her be for the moment.

The rest of the group took a whole lot longer to finish their plates, and it was eventually Gavin who offered to do the dishes while the others kept talking about old times. Not because he preferred doing chores over going back to his room again, but at least it gave him an excuse to stick to himself for a while.

It didn't work quite as intended however, as Chloe was quick to offer him a helping hand.

Well, Chloe was the only girl he hadn't been having some weird conversation with over the day, and he usually appreciated her company whenever they hanged out together with Zack... Except that she looked almost as troubled as Vicky or Ashley however, which caused him to wonder what the heck was going on here today.

They finished the chores without much talk though, and then he managed to sneak back to his room after his friend suggested doing the same. Apparently she was tired after the trip, much like most of the others, and it seemed like they'd call it an early night.

Only Kurt was trying to get the others in for some beers and a game of cards or something, but had to give up as most he found interesting were quick to decline - or had already left the table. So instead he headed out in the hallway, and was lucky to find Ashley just on her way in...

She and the other blonde were just about to say something to eachother, but they quickly split up when they could see him coming. Vicky excused herself and said she'd call it an early night, before disappearing into her room - which reminded him that he had quite the interest in doing the same after all.

First off he wanted to check in with Ashley though, while her boyfriend was still busy chatting with that other guy by the table. Hopefully he'd manage to corner her for another quick smooching at the very least....

"Just stay off me...!" She was quick to turn him down however, and just glared at him angrily when he stopped her from shutting the door to her room in his face. "Just forget, ok?"

"How could I?" He flashed her what he figured was his most charming smile, and then glanced back towards the kitchen. "So what then? You just gonna wait for your 'boyfriend' to finish? He just might be late, you know..."

"Fuck off!" She growled at him menacingly, though he could see that look of hesitation in her eyes before she again tried to close the door on him.

"Oh well... I guess I'll have to take my chances with your friend instead." He winked at her, and pointed to the room he'd be sharing with Vicky. In his own egocentric mind he actually thought she'd get jealous about it, and mistook her angry scowl for just that.

She didn't try to call him back however, but just slammed her door shut when he turned to leave.

Oh well... It looked like he'd had to settle for Vicky tonight, and have another attempt at Ashley tomorrow...
