Arc 3: Midoriya Izuku

We were both writing the papers as I helped him, to be honest it wasn't so bad, its not like your usual paperwork of doing taxes or math homework it actually encourages research and discussion, for once I was enjoying homework, it had interesting scenarios, situations, categorization of quirks and we were helping other heroes, well Deku classmates to be free for their hero time that way, I was actually getting plenty information that could work for the idea I had with my dad about the new hero agency... Right that reminds me I am forgetting to investigate that if my dad keeps gathering people from 3-A to try and work with him could be dangerous, he is certainly up to something I was lost in thought for a brief moment.

"Here you go darling" A piece of homemade cake was served in front of me, carrot cake, it smelled nice, sweet, but not too overbearingly sweet like those decorated cakes you see at a bakery, this was made by this woman. "Would you like something to eat with this? Some milk, I have juice if you prefer"

I looked down in embarrassment and to think this woman was going to be a 'harlot' in my own set of mind "N-no no, its perfect, its great thank you so much for having me in your humble home, I apologise if my behaviour is not the proper one" I was being so technical so careful with my words which just made her giggle.

"Its alright darling, if you need something, anything let me know, I want you to feel like if you were at your own home" And that was the part that stinged the most, this didn't feel like my home, she was so perfect and wonderful, I felt... Envious of Deku to be honest, he had such a nice life with such a great mother, there was no way to put it, this was simply envy.

"Thanks ma'am! I promise to not be a bother, I can clean the dishes afterwards if you wish so"

"No no! There is no need to that you are a guest here"

"Its okay I don't want to be a bother"

"Bother? You are my son's friend you are not a bother" She went back to the kitchen, I didn't even like Izuku but here I was being called a friend, I was flustered, red faced and blushing, she was such an angel, a pure soul, this was the perfect representation of a mother, I was so envious of Izuku of having such a wonderful mother, I covered my face with my hands and groaned before having to literally use my power to return to my normal colour, I took a deep breath before looking at Izuku.

"... Izuku we need to talk"

"Oh sure! What do you want to talk about" He asked like if what I just said was the most normal of things, like if it didn't sound like something serious

"Okay let me elaborate, this is serious talk, Izuku, remember that girl Ochaco right?"

"Ah yeah? What about her?"

"Good you will go tomorrow to school, ask her on a date, start dating, sounds simple right?"

He stared at me in silence, it was his turn to become red, I saw how during those brief seconds of silence his face turned completely red, it almost look like he was about to blow up. "C-come again?" He asked as he started to fiddle around with the pencil he had in hand as if he didn't listen to me, but he did, he did listen.

"Look buddy, I know you like Uraraka, its plain obvious, you should make a move, don't just stand there, if you like someone don't lead them to be your friend for a long time, don't try to coat it as friendship, you are hurting yourself and them furthermore, but the thing is that when you like someone you need to take risks, if that person rejects you, at the least they know your feelings but you can move on from those feelings and don't be a creep trying to push her to like you, just that-..."

"Th-that's okay aha but uhm you know, shouldn't there be like some mutual-"

"Trust me, just trust me on this one, if you ask her, you and her will become girlfriend and boyfriend tomorrow... Just do it, that's all, you need to understand that playing with someone's feelings is... Not nice... Right..." I felt a bit guilty again, a picture of back home flashing through my head "Look you have a good thing going on here, why not just take the risk?"

He smiled for a moment looking away, I thought he agreed for a moment but then "... Its a nice thing you are asking me this Jack" He fiddled next with his fingers "But you must be wrong about some things, Uraraka had... Troubles in the past with this, is just- There was someone who liked me a lot, but due to some of our actions she passed away a long while ago and I don't think me and Uraraka should be dating even after that, its not just a thing that should... And she might be- its too early- All I am saying is that its too early okay? Maybe, maybe after we graduate, or we do something with our lives would be better right?"

"...No?"

"I am saying that, maybe we need more time, to get to know each other. We actually don't talk a lot even if we look close, but I want to build a great relationship with her, thanks for thinking of me but its fine, I promise" He smiled at me as if to reassure everything was fine, there it was, that's the thing I hate, SELFLESSNESS. He reminded me of the number one at my academy, who does things just to do good, do better, he was so selfless that it pissed me off because unlike Izuku he wanted us to be more like him.

"I see... I see... Its okay we will talk more about this"

"I... I would rather if not actually, I know this is the reason now why you did it but, its just that after everything I need to think about other things, I don't feel like myself anymore sometimes, losing my quirk, I thought it would all be the same like before but, it isn't... Ah! Sorry I am being weird! Let's just finish work right" Now I felt even more guilty for mocking him about being quirkless, I am such a horrible person.

"Let's finish this yeah..." We spend the next of our afternoon forgetting we talked about this and once we were finished working and done with our dishes I went ahead and took them to the kitchen.

"Thanks so much, you are such a handsome gentleman darling" I blushed to every word this woman spoke to me, she was an angel, I just couldn't see myself harmind her or insulting her.

"Yes ma'am, thank you ma'am..." I bowed to her again, she then suddenly remembered something pulling out a few lids and food containers and packed up about 5 lunches.

"Deku could you help me with a quick errand, is for the neighbour of 302, miss Ogami, could you take her these for her?" She packed up four of the five lunches into a bag and handle it to Deku.

"Ah! Jack right, we are done now, you can leave if you want to, regardless of everything it was nice spending time with you" He smiled, so nice, I hated it. He left the house leaving me alone with her mom and as I stared at the dishes I grabbed them and proceeded to clean them, sprinkling some water on them before her mother tried to stop me.

"Jack! No need for you to do that!" She ended up spraying water on me and her as she did that "AH I AM SO SORRY, LET ME GET YOU A TOWEL" She was about to run out of the kitchen before I stopped her.

"No worries, no worries, look" I used my quirk to first remove all water out of my clothes onto the ground and then mixed the water together and turned them into an icecube so the floor was dry, then melted the ice cube on the dishes and with my quirk I removed all grim and dirt from the plates leaving them spotless "Ta dah! My quirk is very handy ma'am, please let me clean the dishes is the least thing I could do" I looked back at her as her shirt was all wet, her bra visible through them letting me see those big breasts she had but she had no issue showing me this, she had no malice or lewdness in those eyes of hers.

"Oh that's so amazing, think you could do it for me too?"

"Yes ma'am, certainly ma'am" I said blushing as I touched her shirt, the water being removed away from her clothes leaving her shirt dry as she nodded and thanked me, she was just too wonderful for someone like me. "I should take my leave"

"Oh Jack before you go" She would grab the packed lunch and handle it to me "Here, for you, in case you are hungry on the way back or maybe for later, it must be hard to be here without your parents right? So if you ever want a hot homemade meal, please pass around my house, I would be happy to have someone as well behaved as yourself I am sure your parents are proud they raised such a wonderful gentleman"

"I- I should go" I said feeling a wave of sadness wash over me

"Its okay thanks for being my son's friend, its so hard sometimes with him losing my quirk but people like you keep him so happy and I am so glad he got to be a hero just like all of you" She then hugged me, I was unsure what to do at first but I hugged her back, leaning closer, I even smelled her hair for a moment, it felt so... Warm... "Have a nice day Jack, oh and if you ever come over I will make something spicy for you okay" She winked at me, I simply stared dumbfounded and stepped away.

"Thanks for having me, you are... You are a great person ma'am, the best mother"

"Can't be better than yours right?" She giggled... She was, she really was...

I left Izuku's house with a packed lunch on my hand... Something else awakening inside me, I opened the lunch and ate one of the sausages, it was shaped like an octopus, it tasted like home for once.
