Redfield to the rescue (S1)

Hearing the voice Sam paused. With a shocked expression she released Dustin, stood up while turning around. In front of her was Claire, pointing a pistol at her with a sad face.

Claire knew it would come to this since Sam got bitten by Katherine, but she wasn’t ready. Her hands were shaking from not only the blood loss, but also the lacking of resolve.

“Claire...You’re here! You came to find me!” Sam said happily with her fangs bared, “Why are you pointing a gun at me? We’re friends, aren’t we?”

She slowly stepped forward and Claire just backed up to keep the distance between them. Claire knew perfectly well that it would take more fire power to kill a vampire than a small gun. She needed to lure Sam away from Dustin before she used the grenade launcher, so that she wouldn’t hurt Dustin.

“Claire...?” Sam glanced at Claire’s arm and her expression froze, “Who bit you?”

Sam could smell the scent of Claire’s sweet blood on her arm and the saliva of another vampire. Male, young, ravenous...Whoever that was, he bit Claire’s arm and took a lot of her blood, which should be her privilege, and hers only. Sam felt angry, betrayed, thirsty, and the only thought she had right now was to take Claire.

“Claire!” Sam suddenly charged at her and pinned her down on the floor.

With Claire’s condition she had only one chance to shoot but she didn’t. Both of her hands were gripped by Sam’s claws and couldn’t break free, no matter how hard she tried. Sam smiled with satisfaction as she got to smell Claire’s sweet blood more closely.

“You gave it to him willingly, didn’t you? I could smell that on you...” Sam sniffed from Claire’s arm to her neck, salivating.

“Sam...Please don’t do this!” Claire shook her head desperately. Maybe, she thought, that there was some humanity left in Sam that could be awaken. Maybe she could somehow control herself, just like...

“I can’t...You’re so sweet! I can’t wait to share this gift with you!” Sam bared her fangs, aimed at Claire’s neck and struck.

Bang!

A magnum bullet shattered Sam’s shoulder from behind and broke her jaw. She cried painfully with her arm barely clinging to her torso, and quickly ran deeper into the dark passageway of the sewer system, before Dustin had time to reload the gun and totally destroyed her.

Claire hasn’t recovered from the dreadful encounter yet and was still lying on the floor. Why hasn’t she fired when she had the chance, she kept asking herself. She kept staring at the light on the ceiling, until Dustin “borrowed” a pair of jeans from the corpse of a dead vampire and came to help her up.

“Are you...alright?” Dustin was concerned, “Why didn’t you shoot her?”

“I’m...not sure...” Claire sighed, “Perhaps, I thought there might be a chance to save her...”

“Was what she said true? That you’re bitten?”

Claire showed a bitter smile and quietly rolled up the sleeves of her red jacket. When Dustin saw the bite marks on Claire’s arm, his eyes widened with surprise and he looked at Claire worriedly.

“H-How...” He gasped.

“It was a friend of mine, Leon. He looked totally normal and fought by my side against the vampires, and then the next second...” Claire couldn’t bring herself to describe that scene, and just looked at the wounds confusedly, “I don’t know how much time do I have before I turn...Look, I need to find Sherry and get her to safety. I heard her scream this way, have you seen her?”

“Sherry? Yeah, I was with her before we were attacked by a bunch of vampires and...Sam.” Dustin tried his best to put the “bitten” thing aside and turned around, showed her where Sherry had disappeared, “I think she has fallen down this vent and got to somewhere else.”

“Then we have to find her before she get hurt!” Claire picked up her gun on the floor and tried her best to focus, “Let’s go.”

“Claire...” Dustin reached out his hand. He wanted to persuade Claire to take some rest, but in the end he didn’t. He somewhat understood Claire’s feeling now. She just needed something to carry on and hoped to accomplish them before she’s gone. She wouldn’t waste the little time left to rest.

“What?” Claire was confused as he didn’t continue.

“No, it’s nothing. Let’s go to the monitor room. We could look for Sherry there.” Dustin put up a smile and took the lead.

“Good idea.” Claire nodded and followed.

The duo didn’t talk much and just traversed the sewer system swiftly. Luckily, they didn’t encounter many thirsty vampires on the way either and made it to the control room. After climbing down the ladders they successfully reached the monitor room. When Dustin went to check the monitors, Claire casually approached the window and looked into the garbage room.

“Sherry? Sherry! Can you hear me?” When she saw the little girl standing in the room below and being scared, she almost cried with joy.

“Claire!? You’re alive!” Sherry heard the voice and looked up happily.

“Don’t worry. I’m coming!” Claire pulled out her gun and shot the window, but it seemed to be bulletproof, “Damn it! There has to be a way...”

“Leon was here, uh, not long ago? He said there are some plugs he needs to unlock the door!”

“What?” Claire was surprised, not by the complex puzzle that needed to be solved, but by Sherry’s mentioning Leon.

He was here? That must be after he bit me...So, did he come back to his senses? What would happen if I meet him again? What would he do? All the questions in her head had driven her crazy.

It was at this moment that the other door of the room was opened. Dustin instinctively raised his arms and pointed the submachine gun at the man that just came in, while she just absent-mindedly looked to that direction. But when she saw who the man came in was, she was astonished.

“Claire...?” Leon said surprisedly. His voice was shaking a bit, like he was in fear.

“Leon?” She turned around and looked at him, blushed.

The cute police officer was just like what she remembered. No red eyes, no fangs, just completely normal. But she knew better. However, the scent on him was captivating and she couldn’t move her attention away from that. She felt herself unnaturally attracted to him.

Her heart was beating faster and she felt hotter. She didn’t know what happened to her, but once she looked at Leon, all kind of lewd thoughts were flooding her mind. Had Dustin not been around and staying hostile towards Leon, she would’ve touched herself already.

She bit her lower lip and struggled to keep her mind clear. Despite facing him, she didn’t dare to gaze into his eyes, so she just looked at the floor awkwardly, trying to ease her arousal. That didn’t go well as she felt her pussy already drenched.

“I...” It seemed like Leon was trying to start a conversation, but somehow he didn’t.

“Sherry is down there, could you...help me save her?” She looked into Leon’s eyes sincerely and broke the silence.

“Oh...Yeah! Actually I just found the puzzle pieces that could unlock the door. Here, let me take care of it.” Leon sighed a breath of relief and quickly ran towards the chess plug panels.

His words...His voice...They’re so enthralling...I would love to listen to him talking by my ears the whole day...Looking at the back of Leon she almost drowned in her fantasies. What’s happening to me? Why would I think like that? This is strange, isn’t it? Focus, Claire, focus...She shook her head and acted as normally as possible.

“Thanks!” She put up a smile and went after him.

Dustin didn’t get the situation here, but he had pieced the clues together and realized that this man was the vampire who bit Claire. He didn’t know why Claire didn’t just kill the vampire, but he would stay vigilant.

“Yes! I got it!” Leon finally figured out the correct arrangement of the chess plugs. The door beside them unlocked. The garbage room was just downstairs-

“Ah!” Where a horrific scream just came from.

“No! Sherry!” Claire rushed anxiously down the stairs and tried to get to Sherry as soon as possible. Leon and Dustin instantly followed up.

A blonde, mid-age woman in a white lab coat was dragging an **** Sherry out of the garbage room. When she noticed that there were others following them, she turned around and pointed a gun at them. Claire didn’t dare to act rashly as Sherry was still in the woman’s arm, so she kept her distance.

The blonde was wearing nothing under the coat, not even bras, as she didn’t even do up the buttons. There were also red stains around the collar. Was that blood?

“Who are you!? What do you want from Sherry!?” Claire shouted at the woman.

“Annette Birkin, the Umbrella scientist who caused the incident.” Leon pulled out his gun and pointed it at the woman.

“My daughter is not your concern. I’m taking her to my mistress.” Annette replied mechanically, as if her mind wasn’t all there.

“You’re Sherry’s mother? Who is this mistress you’re talking about?” Leon asked with astonishment.

“My mistress was far greater than the bitch that turned you, little vampire.” Annette smiled wickedly. She kept stepping backwards, going back to the way she came.

“What did you say?” Leon said angrily.

“Uh uh. You don’t Sherry to get hurt, do you?” Annette had completely no shame and put the little girl in front of her.

“Damn it!” Claire was holding her fists tightly, “If you-”

Before the situation could get worse by talking, the worst thing happened when a giant monster crashed the ceiling and dropped between them.

“What the...” Claire tried to cover her eyes from the dust.

It was the monster, Sherry’s father infected with the G-Virus, in its G2 form. Of course it was in the sewer system and still chasing Sherry! She couldn’t let it touch Sherry, but...

“It’s still alive!?” Leon almost felt despair.

“Ha! You arrive just in time, William!” Annette looked at the G and laughed, before disappearing into the dark tunnel behind her, “Have a fun time with them, will you? I will bring our daughter to my mistress!”

She’s running away! Claire didn’t know where Annette was taking Sherry to, but nothing good would come from that twisted mother. There was no time to deal with G2 and she must...
