Chapter 5
by
Marsalad
Who called Misato?
Another Character
Someone darted out from behind the cashier like a deer jumping into a headlight.
Marcus stepped back right before they crashed into his shoulder.
The person in question skidded to a hault by grabbing onto Misato's shoulder, who grunted with pain.

"Asuka, I told you not to run in here. You'll crash into a customer one day."
Asuka rolled her eyes and pouted.
"Whatever, auntie. Do you have any other sage advice for me?"
Instead of giving her one, Misato curled her hand into a fist and whacked over Asuka's head.
"Ow!"
Asuka yelped and crouched with her hands covering the damaged part of her head. She glared up at her supervisor with tears in her eyes.
"That really hurt!"
"It was supposed to."
Misato replied, then turned to Marcus.
"This is Asuka Langley Soryu, or Asuka for short. She is... one of the characters from Evangelion too."
"It's nice to see you, sir!"

Asuka waved her hand with a bright smile.
Marcus nodded rather stiffly, too distracted by cum clearly dripping between Asuka's legs.
Misato also noticed it and clucked her tongue.
"...Asuka, where is our master?"
The loathing carried within the word master made Shirona shrink even more behind Marcus.
Asuka, on the other hand, blushed into a shade of a ripe apple and curled her finger on her hair.
"Well, he was just done having sex with me like 5 minutes ago or so. I think the First Children is next to him at bed right now."
Misato clucked her tongue again. She turned to Marcus with a more evident scowl than ever before.

"If you don't have anything to order, then get the hell out."
"Misato! You're not supposed to treat our master's customers that way!"
Asuka complained.
Misato closed her eyes when Asuka referenced their master, as if she just stabbed her with a rusty knife.
"Marcus."
Shirona tugged at the back of Marcus's suit jacket.
"Maybe we should ask her about their master."
Marcus pondered over the idea.
Misato and Asuka seemed to have a very polarized feeling about their master.
He wondered if it was a smart decision to peek his nose into a matter that was certainly none of his buisness.
"Well? What are you standing around for?"
"Misato!"
Asuka pushed the mature woman aside and skipped right in front of Marcus.
"Is there anyone you have in mind, sir?"
"I, didn't come in with one in mind."
Marcus admitted, taken aback by Asuka's overwhelming bouncy nature.
"No problem! We have a catalog for each option you have right here,"
Asuka shoved a small pamphlet into Marcus's hand.
"And in case you still can't decide, you can pull a random name from the gatcha machine right there."
Asuka pointed at the far corner of the shop where a small gatcha machine filled with variations of small character figures in them.
Marcus glanced at Misato to check her reaction, but Misato seemed to have given up on trying to **** him out of the shop.
She was leaning against the window, staring angrily at the floor as if the tiles were the bain of her existence.
Marcus then glanced over his shoulder at Shirona, wondering if she was still eager to leave.
Shirona was still eying Misato, but instead of being frightened by her aggressive attitude, she was looking at her with curiosity and...remorse.
"Shirona."
"Huh?"
Marcus waved the pamphlet in his hand.

Shirona gave her husband a long stare with an expression he couldn't quite make out, which surprised Marcus.
Shirona had never hid anything from him before.
Even her most dire secrets—such as her being a character—was left unknown only because Marcus never asked her about it.
"...If you want to buy one, I'm not against it."
For the first time in his life, he felt a tinge of resentment in hid wife's tone.
Nontheless, his curiosity and Asuka's expectant gaze won him over.
"I'm not familiar with Evangelion."
"Oh, don't worry! I can explain you everything in detail! I used to live in that world, afterall!"
Asuka gleefully led Marcus to a square-shaped sofa and sat next to him, completly ignoring the cum dripping on the furniture.
She went on to explain the everything about Evangelion, from its main story to the message behind it.
Marcus half-heartedly listened to Asuka's explanation while read through the pamphlet, explaining the basic physics of three main girls available in shop:
Katsuragi Misato
Natrual Height: 5'4 ~ 5'6
Natrual BWH: 36'5 - 23 - 36Has some tendency to revolt against its place. Implanting obedience chip is advised.
Asuka Langley Soryu
Natrual Height: 5~ 5'3
Natrual BWH: 30 - 21 - 32Usually craves for attention to unhealthy levels. Implanting love chip is advised.
Rei Ayanami
Natrual Height: 4'6 ~ 4'9
Natrual BWH: 25 - 17 - 27Usually emotionless like a doll.
Implanting oestrum chip is advised.
Marcus ran his finger over the different variations of chips.
He recalled a maid advertising something similar.
Adding that with what Shirona had said about the orginal character, he easily deduced that these chips must be used to altar a character to fit the buyer's taste.
"Well? Have you made up your mind, sir?"
Marcus grunted, burdened by Asuka's enthusiasm.
Although he zoned out during most of Asuka's explanation, he had picked up that she spent most of it shining the light on herself—or her character.
It was obvious that Asuka wanted her to get picked, but Marcus was weirded out by picking to buy a character when said character was right next to him.
In the end, Marcus made up his mind.
"I'll pull one from the machine."
"Oh."
Asuka dropped her head, crestfallen that she wasn't chosen right away.
But as soon as her mood dropped, she quickly hitched them back up and led Marcus to the gatcha machine.
Marcus inserted his black card and twisted the handle.
The machine rattled and a plastic ball popped out the bottom.
When he squeezed open the ball, a small figure popped out into his hand.
"Letmesee, letmesee!"
Asuka practically clambered onto Marcus's shoulder to get a glimpse of the chosen character.

"Oh..."
Asuka dropped her head again, more disappointed than before.
"...This is Rei Ayanami, correct?"
Asuka nodded without a word and slouched to the cashier.
She looked so defeated, Marcus almost felt bad...until he wondered if feeling bad for not buying her character was a correct response or not.
He usually relied on Shirona to deduce the "correct" reaction, but currently even his wife seemed to put some distance between them.
Misato briskly carried out the rest of the transaction.
She radiated a definitive aura that she'd be doing anything else the entire time, but her work process was as precise as it was fast.
In a blink, Marcus held a exchangeable ticket for his Rei Ayanami that could be used at the exchanging center at B1.
"I hope you visit us again."
Misato said with no emotion backing her words.
Marcus gave her a small nod in courtesy and left the shop with a sour taste in his mouth, which was not something that happened regularly.
Well, that went horribly.
