Dawn is skeptical

Leaving the room, Dawn sighed.

"There's definitely something going on." the coordinator thought and sighed. Of all the things she was expecting upon returning home, a mysterious new family member was not one of them.

"Is something the matter, dear?" Johanna called out and Dawn's focus shifted to her mother. Gazes meeting, Dawn tried her hardest to discern any additional information that she could use here.

On one hand, this was the perfect opportunity to talk with her mother and perhaps get to the bottom of this mystery. At the same time, was it really in her best interests to push?
