And how was Anna?
Good, somehow?
When Jacque woke up, Anna was somehow still twerking.
"Damn," said Jacque. "How much stamina do you have, girl?" Or was it the collar?
He snapped his fingers, and Anna shook her head.
"Huh?" she wondered aloud. "What am I--? Jacque?"
"You spent the night in my room because of the storm," Jacque said.
Anna couldn't remember, the last few hours were a blur, but she trusted Jacque.
"Oh!" she said. "I love the collar you gave me, Jacque. And I wanna help you sell 'em."
She extended her arm. "With your merch and my expertise and charisma, they're sure to be a hit. So whaddaya say?"
"Deal," Jacque said, shaking Anna's hand.
"Whew," Anna said. "I feel like I've been all my feet all night. Ah, well, let's get to selling!"
So the collar only gave her sore legs. Good to know, as Anna hadn't yet collapsed from exhaustion yet.
