The day dragged on with Anna plying her trade, now together with Jacque. It took a while, but eventually someone approached the stall who Jacque was interested in. He slipped one of the collars to the front of the display counter as the woman approached.
"Oh my! Look at this darling little accessory!" she chirped. The girl in question was Dorothea Arnault - a former opera singer and current member of the Black Eagle house.
"They're so cool right?" Anna replied "I bought one from Jacque yesterday and I still haven't taken it off!"
Dorothea couldn't help but keep looking at it thanks to the mesmerizing effects of the necklace.
"Well... I'd love to buy one but I'm a bit short on money." she sighed.
"Ah. We can work with that. We have plenty of these, they aren't as expensive as you might think" Jacque snickered. "In fact... how about this. Let's take this as a marketing opportunity. We'll give it to you for free. Take it back to your dorm and put it on, wear it around, and it'll draw more people to us to buy them. Sound like a fair deal?" he asked.
Dorothea's eyes lit up.
"Absolutely! I've done more than my fair share of advertising. You picked the right girl for the job!" she chirped as she snatched it up and began to walk off.
Jacque snapped Anna back into trance.
"Follow her. Make sure she doesn't put it on before she's in private" he commanded. He couldn't risk Dorothea putting it on in the middle of the monastery in broad daylight. "Once she's under, program her to obey me and have her report to my room tonight."
Anna nodded obediently and scurried off as per her master's command.
