Lily Continues

After reading the card, Lily couldn't help but feel a little hurt. It was true that she didn't have the prettiest face, but until reading the card, she had never thought of her face as ugly. Before the game, she had focused a lot more on her weight, which had been a much larger factor in her low self-esteem.

Maybe her face was ugly though, and she just hadn't noticed it because her chubby body was a larger detriment to her overall looks. At any rate, she wanted to continue as none of anyone's changes thus far had been objectively bad, with even Liam seeming happy with his new figure

So with that Lily said, "I continue" and the card ignited.

Her hair was affected first, changing color from a black to a dirty blond. It then got shorter, now at shoulder length. Her face structure changed next, becoming fuller and slightly broader. She opened up her phone camera, and was shocked to see that her face was almost androgynous looking. It was by no means masculine, but it was a far cry from her previous feminine face.

As she processed the changes and looked around at everyone staring at her, it was too much for her to handle. She suddenly broke down crying. Lily still resembled herself, but there was no hiding her changes from anyone.

Abby moved to Lily's side and hugged her. Abby didn't say anything, but her mere presence seemed to comfort Lily. Lily turned on her phone and took another look at herself, still in disbelief. If she dyed her hair could she hide the change? But there was still her face structure. A mask maybe?

Abby whispered, "You look cute". Lily looked up, and Abby suddenly relized that what she had said was incredibly insensitive. Lily had just broke down crying because she hated her facial changes, and here Abby was calling her cute?

To her immense relief though, Lily slightly smiled and thanked her as she passed the dice, eager to move on.

Abby rolled a 2, and read allowed the green card. "Some extra strength and height will do you good, as long as you don't mind a minor setback"
