The Corruptor finds his next targets

With Kate out of the way, it was time to touch base with a few others.

The Corruptor scanned the room and found two women with a lot of potential engaged in deep conversation.

Neither Katherine McNamara nor Brenda Song would be considered "A List" celebrities, but that was perfect for him.

If they were under people's radars, that would make them easier to corrupt, due to less eyes being on them.

Something told him that Kate was going to be a big project, so he decided that Kat and Brenda would be perfect for quicker corruptions.

At least, that was the hope, one conversation with them would tell him if that was possible.

Even if it wasn't, he'd still like to keep them in his back pocket for a later corruption.

The Corruptor was a man who loved having all his bases covered.

He strolled up to them and introduced himself, getting a handshake from both women.

They both seemed rather friendly, which was perfect for him.

He asked them some questions about how their careers were going and they both seemed optimistic about things.

Of course, the Corruptor quickly reminded them that they should be much bigger stars than they actually were and that deserved much better roles than what they were getting.

Both women thank him for being so complimentary, but they also said that they were happy with their how things were going with their careers.

The Corruptor pretended to be confused by that.

"Both of you should be massive stars right now, how can you settle for anything less?" He asked them.

After a bit of back and forth, Brenda seemed to be the one that broke first.

"Maybe he's right." She said to Kat.

"Well, then, how do we get these big star roles that we supposedly deserve if no one is offering them?" Kat asked.

"I think you both know, that it's time to start getting some edgier roles, that's the thing holding both of you back, stuff like old school thrillers." He said.

Usually such an answer would result in an eye roll from both of them, but the Corruptor's powers was already working on both of them, even if Kat wasn't quite showing it yet.

"You think a casting director would look at me and see someone that could fit those kind of roles?" Brenda asked.

"I know they would, you're the perfect kind of actress to get headlines for playing the good girl turned bad!" He said to her.

Brenda clearly liked what she'd heard and she could see her name suddenly on people's lips for playing that type of role.

"Look, I have a friend that's writing a script that I think you'd be perfect for, why don't you give me your info and I'll contact you later!" He said with a grin.

Brenda soon got out a pen and paper, she wrote her number down and handed it to him, her mind racing at possibilities such a role could bring.

Kat, however, wasn't totally convinced, but she was more willing to listen than previous.

"And what about me?" She asked him.

"I've heard rumors of a no nudity clause in your contracts." He said to her, Kat immediately picking up on what he was saying.

"So you're saying it's time to get my tits out." She said with annoyed amusement.

"Hey, if it'll help your career, why not, after all, the headlines you'd get would be more than worth whatever objections you'd have, your body is a gold mine and it's time to start mining it!" He declared.

She had to admit that him wording it that way made sense to her.

"Maybe you're right." She said, deep in thought.

"Look why don't you do like Brenda did and give me your number, I have some other business to attend to, but I'd like to continue this conversation." He said.

Kat agreed and wrote her number down and handed it him, before the trio went their separate ways.

The Corruptor was on quite the roll, and he was determined to keep it going!
