To the Cunningham Residence

Selena had known her daughter Renee to be a modest woman. So she was a bit shocked when Renee showed up to her own belated surprise birthday party in her birthday suit back in August. Selena and her husband George agreed to wait for their daughter to talk about what happened when she was ready, as Renee seemed pretty upset by the whole ordeal. It was now January and Selena had pretty much forgotten about that day until she had an interesting conversation with one of her coworkers.

Apparently she stayed at the local ski resort around the same time Renee did last month. And claimed to have seen her skiing down the mountain naked and then streaking through the resort lobby. Selena concluded this and the infamous birthday streak was because her daughter was trying to be more daring. Just as she had in her senior year. So Selena decided to talk to Renee about it and let her know she understood her and maybe give her some advice. The conversation went a bit different than she expected.

Renee explained to her mom that her past streaks were caused by the school bully: Tracy Cunningham. First ambushing her at her happy place outside the school. Then again at the ski resort. All because of a simple misunderstanding involving a pencil. The most distressing part for Selena was that she could clearly tell Renee wasn’t telling the whole story. She doubted the bully left Renee alone for months before striking again. But Renee was embarrassed enough recounting two of her misadventures to her own mother, so Selena decided not to pry.

What she was going to do was deal with Tracy. She figured going to the Cunningham residence and talking things out could solve things. She was a lawyer after all, and a damn good one too. So she jogged over there in a white sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and black sneakers. Selena was trying to stay fit so she decided to kill two birds with one stone. It was an hour long trek but she had finally arrived at the Cunningham house. She rang the doorbell which was answered by Tracy’s auburn-haired mother and Selina’s former classmate: Kelsey Cunningham.

“Long time no see Kelsey,” said Selina. “I need to speak with your daughter.”
