Enlist Caroline or Carol

Taking a moment to think it over, only one option came to mind here.

"I need help." Mabelle thought, shifting her weight ever so slightly. But that decision brought with it yet another question. Which one of the two should she got to ask for help?

On one hand, Caroline was bound to have the resources needed in order to make her dream reality. At the same time, she was quite a bit younger than she was intending to become.

On the other hand, Carol was likely to be more in tune with what an elderly lady might look like. Yet, she was lacking much in the way of connections here.

"Why does a decision like this need to be so hard?" Mabelle thought.
