Scooby Doo on the Unsinkable 2

The race that your ship was apparently taking part in took long enough that you and your entourage decided it would be best to continue with the movie marathon. It took only a little bit to finish out TMNT Alone 2 and then you and your harem decided it was time to take a short break. Messing with the deck controls, you had caused some yoga mats to pop out of the floor and some gym equipment to be brought over by some drones.

A quick exercise and ‘exercise’ break later, you were watching yet another movie with the seating arrangement changed around a bit. Starfire started a kitty pile with Erza and Shampoo after someone (definitely not you) found a ball of catnip. And Aelita was leaning against Diana with her feet up.

“Does this feel better?” You ask Aelita as you slowly rubbed and massaged her slightly swollen ankles while Laura, Kate, and Katara gave jealous looks.

“It does, thank you,” Aelita sighs as she relaxes especially once Diana starts giving her a shoulder rub. Aelita had complained slightly during the exercise/‘exercise’ break of pain in her legs and you offered to give her a hand. “You have magic hands James, Diana.”

“I guess their hands are made for more than groping and fingering,” Gaige snarked while she fiddled with her ‘MassageTrap’ project causing a few laughs and chuckles while you and Diana rolled your eyes while not denying it.

“Like zoinks!” You turn your attention back to the movie playing as the Shaggy on screen yells.

“What is it Shaggy? Did you see the ghost?” The concerned Daphne on screen asked as she turned away from a control panel. As she walked towards Shaggy and Scooby with the rest of the gang, a hand wearing leather gloves moved aside the panel and tried to grab at Daphne only to miss by a hair. The panel slid closed, the ‘ghost’ retreating for now.

“Ghostie hands, NOOO SWIPING!” Starfire pointed at the screen before giggling.

“Yeah no swiping meanie ghostie,” Erza said as she summoned a blunt sword I let her keep and she waved at the TV, missing each swipe.

“Wow that catnip is strong,” Marinette said at the catgirls’ antics. You did the much more important work of taking videos and photos of Starfire and Erza. Putting away your phone, you picked up what was going on in the movie while the others were cooing over the catgirls. You briefly wonder if you should get some instant catgirl powder so they can have a taste of the feline side (in a non-sexual way).

“I found matches and this gasoline can behind theses barrels,” Shaggy revealed as he lifted up a matchbox and a red gasoline can so that the rest of the Mystery Gang can see.

“Well we’re in an engine room Shaggy,” Fred reminded Shaggy, not believing that the items were that important.

“Now hold on there Fred, the engines are coal powered, they don’t need gasoline,” Velma said as she took out a magnifying glass and looked at matches. “And these matches are the kind that come with cigars, expensive ones. Now what would these matches be here?”

“Maybe the Ghosts of the Original Unsinkable’s guests decided to have a smoke break before they started the coal fire,” grumbled an paranoid looking engineer.

“What do you mean Mr. Weatherfair?” Daphne asked the ash covered man drinking from a canteen.

“Ever since Mr Connelly named this blasted ship after the Unsinkable, ghosts and shadow people have been terrorizing the crew and passengers,” Mr. Weatherfair said, finishing his drink. “Many of the incidents mirror the disasters that the original crew and guests faced on that fateful day.”

“So, they’re on a haunted ship where someone or something is sabotaging the trip,” Gogo asked.

“Yeah, Scooby Doo has had a lot of interesting crossover movies over the past few decades, Scooby Doo and Sherlock Holms, Scooby Doo and the Curse of Crystal Lake, Scooby Doo First Blood and so on. This one is a crossover with a bunch of ship based disaster movies,” you explain being a big fan of Scooby Doo, if your Vegas trip to the Scooby Doo based casino/brothel wasn’t evidence enough.

You briefly think about the Daphne that was wrapped up among your wedding gifts and wonder what she was up to but then you continued your explanation. “In fact, I think you can figure out the main movie in a few minutes.”

Gogo shrugged, her hair flipping a little. She blew her hair out of her eyes, looking a bit annoyed. You wonder if you should get a hair stylist or set up hair appointments for the rest of your girls.

It was true that a few minutes later Gogo realized what the main movie that was crossing over with Scooby Doo.

“I’m king of the world!” Jack shouted as he and Rose stood on the front of the Unsinkable. He and Rose laughed and cheered as the wind blew through their clothes and hair, that is until a hand tapped Jack on the shoulder.

“Hey buddy?” Shaggy said when Jack turned to look at him. “Yeah, sorry man but you only rented that spot for a couple of minutes and a line is like forming up.” Jack looked past Shaggy and saw a whole line of tourists, crew, and duplicates of Shaggy and Scooby waiting impatiently.

“Oh, sorry about that,” Jack said as he helped Rose off the steps. Shaggy looked at them for a second.

“Say, don't I know you from somewhere?” He asked Rose who froze stiff in fear. She slowly turned to him and shook her head.

“I think you are confusing me with someone else.”

“You sure? Cause like you sure look a lot like the owner’s daugh–”

“Oh would you look at the time, got to go, ta-ta!” Rose pulled Jack’s arm and ran away, leaving behind a dust cloud and Shaggy coughing.

“Not sure how I feel about Shaggy’s interruption,” Katara said. “I like the original scene better.” You shrug a bit but didn’t care too much to defend the change. The movie went along with the Mystery Gang trying to catch the ghosts in the act as several walls fell down, random rooms got flooded, and the ship leaned to one side.

“Wait? So the janitor was the bad guy?” Diana asked. “But he had been helping Mystery Gang chase the ghost.” At that moment, Velma pulled the mask off of the janitor causing the ship’s owner and Rose to gasp.

“Uncle Nemo! But you were vacationing on the moon!” Rose exclaimed.

“I wasn’t vacationing on the moon, that was just my cover story. I have spent the last five years planning on how I would claim what was rightfully mine! When I heard my brother’s plan to recreate the Unsinkable’s voyage I knew I had the opportunity to humiliate him and practically steal the ship right from under his nose. I knew if I could scare all his business away and show the ship is unsafe, he would be **** to sell to M.C. Sherman, my alias!” The tied up guy ranted and raved.

“But why brother?”

“To show dad that I’m a better businessman than you ever were! And I would’ve gotten away from it if it wasn’t for you meddling kids!”

“So what did y’all think?” You ask your harem.

“A little too long I think? Too much was thrown in,” Laura complained. Several other comments both good and bad flooded in. Just before you were going to find another movie to put in or put in a video game, the comms chimed.

“Hey James, just wanted to let you know…” Hera started to say.
