She tries to charm the teacher!

"Do we really need to do this?" asked Leaf, a small grin on her face. "I almost beat you. Is that really worth celebrating?"

The teacher stared back at her, his eyes tracing her body with every passing second. Finally, a sigh of acceptance came from his mouth. "I suppose not."

Leaf let out her own sigh, this one of relief. It would appear that the teacher was kind enough to not force her. She knew this was a rare thing and thanked him profusely.

"If we meet again, please understand that no charm you have will work on me." the teacher finally said, giving a wink at the very end. Leaf nodded and left the school. She had lost the battle and would need to heal her Pokémon. Even still, the battle had given her enough experience, and she felt good about going through the forest.
