Hermione Mother of mankind

"I'm here because I've chosen you to be my successor." Eve said much to Hermione's surprise.

"W-what?!" Hermione asked shocked to hear this.

"You are now the mother of mankind." Eve said with a smile on her face. "Congratulations!" She cheered showing that despite being a mother she could still be hairheaded.

"But I can't do that, I can't birth an entire civilization." Hermione said shocked that she was given that task.

"Of course, you can you have a good head on your shoulders your smart resourceful and truly a child of Eve." Eve said before taking Hermione's hands in hers. "I would never ask you to take this task if I didn't think you could handle it." Eve said her tone soft and encouraging to Hermione. "It's why I trust you to prevent the mistakes of the past from repeating." Eve said and in turn Hermione could not help but feel overwhelmed both by the task and by Eve's belief in her.

"I... I don't know what to say." Hermione said not sure how to respond to this.

"Then don't say anything." Eve said and thus she sat Hermione down on the nearby bench. "No need for tears you've grown into a wonderful young woman and endured untold suffering." Eve said gesturing to Hermione's arm that no longer had the scars left by Bellatrix. "I have faith in you and I am so proud of what you have done despite everything its why I chose you." Eve said and thus Hermione swallowed her tears.

"If I am to be your successor Eve... then who is to be Adam's?" Hermione asked with concern in her voice.
