Coming Clean
Heading back to her granddaughter, Carol took a moment to compose herself. This was likely the only opportunity she had to set the record straight.
"Grandma, is something the matter?" May called out and Carol stopped. Meeting May's gaze, the grandmother let a neutral expression form upon her face. As much as this would likely hurt her here, this was the best option here. Even if Carol didn't want to admit it.
"I need to tell you the truth here." Carol explained and watched May raise an eyebrow. Taking a seat on the couch, Carol followed right behind. Doing their best to get comfortable, the coordinator's gaze hung to her grandmother. "I'm not quite who I say I am..."
