The two catlike Digimon launched an attack at their master, twisted into this against their will. Darcmon and Gryzmon quickly moved to intercept the attacks, which both took direct hits from Tailmon and DarkTailmon’s attacks. Before Darcmon and Gryzmon had a chance to recover, the two Tailmon quickly launched a flurry of attacks against the two Digimon that protected John. Thanks to their connection to their tamer, their superior power was able to quickly overwhelm the two wild Digimon and knock them to the ground.

“Ugh. Digimon tied to humans are seriously OP…” Gryzmon said as it struggled to stand up.

“Their ability to draw power from their tamers is quite effective,” Darcmon said as it also was unable to stand up. The two feline Digimon quickly pounced towards John, who could only bring his arms up to block the attack.

"Tear Shot!"

"Corona Flame!"

Lunamon and Coronamon quickly came to John's rescue as the two derps attempted to pull him out of the way. Instead, John looked down and saw the two derps fruitlessly pull on his legs in an attempt to make them move. A small smile formed on his face as he saw these two children do what they could to protect him.

I won't let their efforts be in vain… John thought to himself as he scooped up the two deeps in each arm and retreated back out of the line of fire.

"Thank you both for saving me. You two are good girls!" he said as he gave them a peck on the cheek. Tears started to form in their eyes.

"We wuv you, big bro John!" Mimi said between sniffles.

"We don't want you to go bye-bye!" added Yatina.

"Don't you two worry your cute little heads about that," John told them with a wide smile. "I have no plans of going anywhere anytime soon," he said to them both. "Tailmon! BlackTailmon! I don't know what that Digimon did to you, but I will get you back! As your tamer it's my job to do that!" He shouted at them as he squeezed the derps closer to him.

"We wanna help!" Exclaimed Yaya, eagerly.

"Yeah! The kitties are fun!" Chimed in Mimi.

"Then let's knock some sense into them, what do you two say?" Asked John. The two derps smiled and nodded at him.

"Lulu!" Mimi said to get her Digimon's attention.

"Coco!" Said Yaya as she did the same.

"Knock some sense into those silly kitties!" The two said in unison. The two Digimon tied to the derps began to glow as they resonated with their tamers emotions.

"I will do as you wish, Mimi. I, too, want Tailmon and BlackTailmon returned to us." Lunamon said in response to Mimi's feelings.

"One noggin bonking coming up!" Coronamon said as it accepted Yatina's feelings.

"Lunamon evolve tooooooooo!" said the Digimon as it became engulfed in light.

"Coronamon evolve tooooooo!" as it bathed in the light of evolution.

“Lekismon!” said the new creature that stood where Lunamon once was. The creature, which looked a bit like a rabbit, with a body of white fur with yellow crescent moon patterns found along its body. What looked like water formed a chestguard around the Digimon that also formed tentacles that sprouted from the back of the watery armor. Two gloves with yellow crescent moons printed on them covered Lekismon’s hands. On its head was a helmet that allowed its large ears and ribbons to float out of it.

“Firamon!” said the Digimon that was once Coronamon. The digimon now looked like a large lion, with red fur with crimson wings on its back. Fire spewed from pieces of armor located on all four of its legs as well as on some on its helmet. Its tail, however, ended in a torch that had a blazing fire on its end, ready to burn any enemy away.

“Wooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” said Mimi as she looked on in awe of her new digital partner.

“Soooooo coooooooooool!” chimed in Yatina as, she too, was awestruck by her new Digimon.

“Stay back, Mimi, let me handle these two,” Lekismon told Mimi, who merely nodded since she was at a loss for words.

“Watch this, Yatina. I’mma light these two up and show them how the big cats play!” Firamon told his tamer, who only clapped in response as she was also unable to find the words to speak.

“It doesn’t matter if you two evolved or not, my Helter Skelter will not be broken!” Bastemon taunted the group before it.

“We shall see,” Lekismon said. “Tear Arrow!” announced the Digimon as arrows of ice formed in its back tentacles and shot out at the two cat-like Digimon. They were quick to dodge the attacks, which was exactly what Lekismon wanted them to do.

“Flame Dive!” yelled Firamon, who had maneuvered around behind and above the two Digimon. Firamon bathed itself in fire and dove towards Tailmon and BlackTailmon, its wings tucked next to its sides to increase its velocity. The two Digimon were unable to dodge the attack completely and took some damage from the flames that swarmed over Firamon’s body.
“Aaaaaahhh!” screamed out Tailmon.

“It burns!” BlackTailmon cried out in pain.

“Moon Night Bomb!” Lekismon said as it launched a new attack. A water bubble formed in the left glove of Lekismon and then shot out towards BlackTailmon. The water bubble hit the hurt Digimon and caused the Digimon to fall asleep.

“Neko Punch!” Tailmon said as it hit Lekismon before it could charge another attack.

“Ugh!” grunted Lekismon as it was hurled through the air and into the side of the cave.

“Lekismon! No!” yelled Firamon. “You’ll pay for that, cat!” it roared as it charged towards Tailmon. The cat-like Digimon dodged the larger Digimon in a rather agile fashion as it quickly hopped away while it used Firamon’s own body as a step to get away.

“Yes! Get them Tailmon! You are the stronger Tailmon afterall,” Bastemon told Tailmon, which seemed to spur the Digimon on.

“Neko Kick!” Tailmon’s foot connected with Firamon’s back, which sent the Digimon into the ground.

“Tear Arrow!” Lekismon, who had recovered from its attack, launched its own offensive against Tailmon. The feline Digimon was able to dodge some, but not all, of the ice arrows. The **** of the attack sent Tailmon towards Bastemon who caught the Digimon and threw it back towards Lekismon.

“Do not fail me, little one!” barked Bastemon as it whipped the Digimon into Lekismon.

“Cat Tail!” announced Tailmon as it used its momentum to begin a roll which culminated with its tail that bashed into Lekismon’s head. The **** of the strike knocked Lekismon down hard. The rabbit-like Digimon walked the line between conscious and **** thanks to the power of that attack.

“Lekismon, no!” Firamon said in a shock from the power of the attack. “You’ll pay for that!” it said as the fires on its body turned into infernos. “Let's see how you deal with this…Fira Bomb!” it shouted as the fires all concentrated on the orb in the center of its helmet before the attack blasted out towards Tailmon. The intensity and speed of the attack was too much for Tailmon to handle as it took the full **** of the blast.

“Noooo!” Bastemon let out in a fit of rage. “You stupid cats!” continued Bastemon.”You are the partners of the intruder who defeated Deltamon and you can’t beat these two?! Why are they not as strong as then?!” Bastemon asked itself as anger poured through it.

“Because they aren’t your Digimon,” John said as he clutched the two derps to keep them close to him. “They are my friends and my partners. Our bond will always be greater than the mind control you use on them!” John’s words struck Bastemon hard on an emotional level. The Digimon knew he was right. His bond determined their power and its control weakened that bond but it remembered a way to change that.

“You are right, your bond does empower them. But perhaps I should change that bond. This will help with that!” Bastemon said as it pulled a vial out of seemingly nowhere. “This is the power of the Digimon Empress and I shall use it to break your bonds and make a Digimon for her majesty!” Bastemon said as it jumped down from the Witchmon and to where BlackTailmon slumbered. “Now, behold her power and bask in the glory of the Digimon Empress!” Bastemon said as it poured the vial down the throat of BlackTailmon. A beam of dark energy coalesced around BlackTailmon seemed to awaken in agony.
