When she had worked up the courage, she took a deep breath and then spoke, “You choose for me. Don’t even tell me the choices. I want you to do it.”

Lily stared at her daughter surprised and while lately she had been doing whatever Jessica asked without much of hesitation, this time she had a moment’s pause. “Are you sure?”

Jessica closed her eyes and nodded her head, “Did I ask you your opinion when I used the remote on you and chose the futa thing? Did I ask Gerald, Megan, or Professor Brown when I made the decision for them? It may seem crazy but it just kind feels like giving someone else control on this just feels like the right thing to do. It just feels fair that someone else gets to make my choice.”

Jessica smiled at that and her mother’s concerned. “Now you know what I’ve been going through.
