Catharsis is sweet!

"Right, there are the big lumbering bozos..." Kazuma smirked, sadistically. "It's payback time..."

"These aren't the same toads you fought before though, just different ones of the same species trying to eat passing merchants again," Cremea pointed out.

"It's the quest Cremea! It's revenge on the blasted quest itself!" Kazuma ranted a bit. "I'll finally have catharsis!"

"...is he entirely sure that he's the sane one among us?" Cremea asked skeptically.

"I think "sane" is a relative term here," Fio giggled.

A toad spotted them and hopped over, looking to eat one of them, and shot out its tongue. Kazuma however was able to draw his new sword, and cut off the appendage. "It's payback time!" he cackled, and the slaughter began.

"Hahaha!" Kazuma laughed as they started at a large number of slain giant toads. "That was awesome!"

"The pay's going to be shit compared to the things we've already accomplished, and you're the only one who gained a level from the low EXP," Cremea deadpanned.

"Oh stuff it! For once, I got to feel like an overpowered fighter!" Kazuma chortled. "It was a perfect change of pace! This mission couldn't have possibly gone any better!"

"Why am I the only one who got covered in toad slime again!?" Aqua cried comically, as indeed, she was coated in a sheen of slime.

"...I stand by what I said!" Kazuma declared, ignoring everyone else sweat dropping.
