A rather nostalgic quest.

"Well, what do you know?" Kazuma remarked, seeing the quest board. It wasn't full like it had been before, but it was filling up with quests since they last saw it. "Looks like the moderate and easy quests are coming back as we had hoped. Guess Beldia really did clear out."

"So, which one are we picking this time?" Cremea asked.

"Hmmm... Oh, here's one!" Kazuma grinned as he pulled down a rather familiar quest. "Those toads are back!"

"Wait, you want to slay toads? Really?" Fio deadpanned. "That's like... The most basic of beginner quests... I get you want a cakewalk for a change of pace, but..."

"Well... Actually, we struggled against those guys the first few times we went after them," Kazuma admitted. "I was just starting, Aqua's useless, Megumin is an Explosion nut who's done after one shot, though I managed to coerce her to learn Fireball recently, and Darkness until recently couldn't hit water if she fell out of a boat. Heck, even now, her aim still needs work. Stormtroopers could point and laugh at her without looking like hypocrites!"

"... stormtroopers?" the party blinked in confusion.

"Oh right, they're mooks in one of the larger stories created where I come from. A common joke about them is that they can't shoot for shit. To be fair though, they often shoot at characters with plot armor. Anyway, the point is, I'm kind of eager to get back at this repeatable quest for all the trouble it caused us. I'm vindictive like that, plus, it'll be a good measuring stick of how far I've come."

"Fine, but don't forget to buy a new sword before we go," Fio giggled.

"Ugh, I really hate this joke the universe seems to think is funny," Kazuma groaned.
