Lunch

Kangal was surprised at how fast you got to his office and you just told him “Got a detention for poor work. I need to run.”

He nodded and off you went. Luckily the class room was close to the history staffroom and you just got there in time. You had not even packed the stuff into your bag!

Without pleasantries you were asked by the teacher, Mr. Stoneton “What exactly do you plan to do during this detention?”

Hmm, what else could you say except “Study the source materials for your class, sir. I am here because I did not study it and do the work, so I should study the book and then do the work.”

You hesitate and add, “If I redo the past assignments from this year, will you review them? I know I have to catch up, and this would help me find my weak points.”

Stoneton frowned, “If I have time.”

“Thank you.”

You take your seat pull out not just the book, but the sheets of all of your assignments from that class.

You were meant to do different things after reading so many chapters.

That was how you spent lunch, even skipping eating.
