Village envoys arrive to renew a treaty

"Hey babe. What'cha doing?"

Hiccup looked back, only to immediately look back down at her notes, her face red.

"U-Uh, just doing some last minute adjustments on a project before I put everything away for the renewal."

While Hiccup and Astrid didn't regret what they did and Hiccup was surprisingly tender when comforting to the Shieldmaiden, that didn't mean things didn't feel any different. Astrid had only become even more affectionate physically, taking obscene pleasure in making Hiccup squeak by patting her on the butt or snagging a quick kiss when all eyes are off of them. As for Hiccup, she didn't have any problems undressing Astrid with her eyes in the past, but now that she's actually seen her naked, doing it became almost compulsory.

"Right. Envoys from one of the other tribes are coming for a renewal. When's the thing?"

"Well, The Thing isn't for another month. The treaty renewal is tomorrow."

"Yeah I know smartass," said Astrid, giving a goodnatured punch to Hiccup's arm. "With who?"
