An Invite and Deep Thinking.

Two days later, Ethan was in his office, typing something out when he received an email from his father.

Blinking, he clicked it and it was an invitation to the RealDreams Masquerade Gala.

Basically just a place for people to meet and enjoy themselves.

Also it's a bit of a fuck you to the WARM (Woman Against RealDreams Militant.)

His parents were invited but they decided to give him the invite so he can go in their place.

Ethan wouldn't mind, it might be fun, but who would he take?

Ethan checked the date and it was almost a month from now, gives him lots of time to prepare so he put it on his calendar.

He wondered how his girls were doing right now?

Ruby Hoshino... She was... Conflicted... Very conflicted.

She was taken out of her world and... Well, she was aged up, she was now 18! And her mama is here, she's alive!

But... She's with a man who she's supposed to serve also, she part of this harem, she wasn't sure about this or if she was okay with it.

The next thing in her mind.... The manga and anime, the doctor who took care of her, her crush... Was her brother reincarnated...

It really sent her on a loop, she was upset that he died but now he was her brother... She was very happy to see how protective he was of her... Even if he didn't know who she was.

But reading it further, she felt a bit... Relieved?

He was manipulative, trying to protect her and keep her away from her dream.

Not the best thing to see in a person that you like...

Closing her laptop, Ruby sighed and looked around the slightly plain room.

Mama helped her pick out posters and collectables of Ai... It was embarrassing but Ai just teased a bit and told her how flattered she was that her daughter was such an otaku.

Her mama hadn't changed much... Except she was clinging to Ruby a lot, even whispering I love yous to her, probably because now she can say it and actually mean it.

She asked about her father, but Ai went silent and simply told her that she wanted to forget about him and look to the future.

Ruby got a suspicion that she would see if she kept reading the manga.

Ai went to her room to get something but told her that she would pick Ruby up to take her to the dining hall for dinner.

Ruby really missed her mama... Maybe one day she can bring her to Aqua and free him from his burden...

"Ruby!" Ai came in smiling. "Let's get dinner, the maids are amazing cooks, you'll love their food!"

Ruby smiled back and got up to follow her mama.
