Making a plan with Mirajane

“I knew that some of the girls I rescued from Phil’s character bins had suspicious mods thanks to the guys at the office telling me,” you say to Mirajane who was now sitting next to you on the bed. “But I didn’t think he was a full on illegal mod dealer, especially of the highly suppressed kind.” You were quite happy with the information Mirajane gave you.With the kinds of mods Phil was selling, he was looking at least five years in prison. That is not even going into the fines nor the lawsuits from the mod companies these mods were ripping off.

“And since he sold them to Eddie who used them to attack Antonio, he will be lucky to see the light of day again,” You conclude excitedly. Mirajane shared a conspiratorial smile with you but then you realized something. “But for the police to act on it, we need to get you to one of their mind officers to get your memory as evidence, it needs to be as fresh as possible.”

“So we need to get off this world as soon as possible,” Mirajane frowned her brow. Memory extraction and evidence was a new thing legally, you only found out about it when asking for the police to look into Josh’s memory when he was suspected of stealing Starfire. Prime Worlders could refuse to give their memories unfortunately so they couldn’t connect him to her disappearance until they found the ring. Still, they couldn’t make him give the memory over.

“But how? The base is buried deep underground and no patrol was able to find this place before,” you say out loud, with what you have been told the tribe’s base has been hidden for months. “And the shuttle had been severely damaged and had been acting weirdly right before.”

“There are some skilled people in the tribe and outside it, maybe they can repair it or find a way to get a message out?” Mirajane suggested. “Maybe someone could flag down another shuttle?”

“Maybe but is there anyone you trust either to fix the shuttle or flag them down?” You asked, partially thinking that most patrols would just shoot with the character capture ray and be done with it. “And would Femputer or Canary allow them to do it?”

“Not everyone is very happy with how Femputer does things, especially with how Canary charms everyone with her voice,” Mirajane says as she pouts to the side. “I’ll ask around, I might be new but I’ll be able to find a few I think.”

“Do you know where Gogo is? She was reading the manual the past few days and would be able to give a leg up; she’s also a mechanical engineer. And where Diana would be?,” you ask, worried about where Gogo and Diana could be.

“I overheard Canary telling Bowsette to take Diana to her office,” Mirajane said while in a thinking pose. “And Gogo was the other girl with you? I lost track of her during the orgy, I’ll check where they are keeping her alright.” You were about to nod to her but since she appears to be blind you spoke out loud.

“Thank you.” Mirajane got up and started going towards the door and started feeling for the door handle.

“I will come back when I can, “ Mirajane assured. “Try to get sleep, I’m sure the girls will like to resume their fun in the morning.”

You were about to say good night but then considered something. You wondered if she wants to stay the night with you.
