A blind date set up by your friend

All you knew about your date was what your best friend Matt had told you. That she was out of your league, older than you, and you had one chance to impress them.

This has all happened after you were messaging him one day, bemoaning your current lack of love life. He had made a comment offhand that he might be able to help, but didn’t know if you’d be up for it. Not knowing what he meant, you badgered him until he relented, saying “ok, I know someone, but you better be grateful!” With that he set up a time and place, told you to show up, and that you had one shot, and if it’s too much don’t say he didn’t warn you.

With all that mystery to consider, you got dressed in somewhat nice attire and headed to where you were supposed to meet this mystery date.
