Carol Ferris

Jason’s new ring identified another Star Sapphire in close proximity to herself.

“Hi!”

Carol greeted her, flying over in her full Star Sapphire outfit.

“I know you probably have a million questions right now but let's just start with names. I’m Carol Ferris, and I’m a Star Sapphire. We protect the universe using the power of love. This may seem crazy but you’ve been chosen to join the only all-female lantern corps in the universe.”

She smiled.

“Congratulations. Being chosen means you have a big heart and plenty of love to spare.”

Jason was utterly flabbergasted. So this was for real. She couldn’t even put her confusion to words so the new female just stood there in awe. Carol took this as her being amazed by what she was saying.

“I know right? It’s a very high honor to be chosen. You must be a really talented girl! Anyways, I’ll be taking you back to Zamaron to begin your training.”

“Wait! This can’t be right! I’m not a girl, I’m a man!”

Jason protested.

Carol furrowed her brows. She gave the woman a once over, running her eyes up the girl’s curvy body that was only accentuated by the way the suit cradled her breasts and clung to her ass.

“You look very female to me...? No offense...”

“I—I was a man.... before I found this stupid ring! It made me a girl and now it won’t come off!”

“I’ve never heard of our rings doing such a thing. Even if they did choose a man for some reason, which they wouldn’t, you would most definitely remain male. Do you have a name?”

“Jason. It’s Jason Todd. I work for the Batman.”

“I see. Well, it would be in your best interest to return to Zamaron with me anyway to get this whole thing sorted out.”
