A Bite Before Nightfall

The next few minutes are spent setting up a curtain and tuning different instruments. Recovery Girl puts on a mask and gloves before looking to Hagakure. "From what you described, this doesn't seem particularly contagious, given the fact you were so close them and came out okay. But I'd rather be safe than sorry. If you'd like you can sit down over there, I'll send any students I've cleared to go with you." The old lady smiles at the invisible girl, obviously confident in her abilities.

Soon, Mr Aizawa enters the commons. Coming up and talking to Recovery Girl about what's happening, before nodding his head and going to the hallway where the students are lined up. "Alright everyone, make sure to keep your distance from eachother. This shouldn't be anything serious, we'll just be checking you like we would with lice. I'll let you out here one by one as Recovery Girl calls for you, until then please wait your turn."

This seems pretty straightforward, and it is true that they are taking some precautions. But Hagakure is worried that they don't understand the aggression she described, as if Recovery Girl only took it as some minor agitation.

But as she sits there, she too starts to calm down about the situation. Something strange comes over her, seeming to calm her down a bit, just enough to stop her from panicking. She glances up and sees Midoriya coming out first. He has a nice smile on his face as he gives her a friendly wave.

His chiseled body isn't without a shirt, maybe he just got out of the shower? She can't describe it, but the longer she stares at him, the more... normal it feels. It's as if her mind won't let her see that anything is wrong.

Soon, he moves behind the curtain as Recovery Girl prepares to examine the first student. "Okay, please say ahh." The nurse says, holding a stick down onto the boy's tongue. She doesn't see anything strange, and moves on.

"Okay now close your mouth." Midoriya obliges, but as he does so, Recovery Girl feels a small prick on her finger. "Ouch!"

Quickly Midoriya acts concerned. "Oh I'm sorry! Are you okay?"

The nurse holds her finger as a drop of blood trickles out of a small indent through her glove. "Oh yes I'm fine. Don't worry about it." She says, kissing her wound and healing it immediately. The vampire's influence in the area seems to be strong enough to pacify the nurse, as she soon returns to her examination, forgetting all about what just happened.

"Hmm..." Eventually, she starts to notice something strange with her patient's ears. "Your quirk doesn't make your ears sharper does it?" Midoriya shakes his head, and Recovery Girl writes something down. "I'm afraid you might be sick... Go sit over there, when I'm done checking the others I'll be able to treat you." She points to another section of the room, and Midoriya moves over there, leaning against the wall with his arms folded.

Next comes Sero, who easily passes his exam and is seated next to Hagakure. One by one the students get checked and moved into their own areas of the room. By now, only 2 students have been moved until the quarantine area, Midoriya and Uraraka stand there silently, watching the rest of the room with waiting eyes.

Soon there's only 1 person left to check. Recovery Girl sips a bit of tea as the sun moves behind the horizon. The sky grows dark, as Uraraka starts to feel something familiar within her...
