Meeting the Mother

As you are walking through the station you find no living beings there. You have checked the command deck, but that too seemed abandoned for many millennia.

Drek: What a place! It's not Republic made, but neither Gree nor Rakata... So far we haven't known about anything that would predate any of that three! Marvelous!

Lana: Yet, we have no idea who built this thing here and why...

Drek: Yes, not yet, but we must organize a new expedition here with scientific experts who could find that out!

Ranvi: I would rather find out why Mother Talzin thought this place was connected to the Mother... Maybe we can find something about her if we look at the datafiles on the computer.

Drek: Hm... Maybe this station has some sort of function in keeping the Mother imprisoned in the Maw...? Maybe this is the barrier Talzin told us about!

You all hear a female voice slowly echoing in the air.

?: It has been a long time since somebody came to visit me...

Lana (grabbing her weapons): Who are you...?!

Abeloth: I am the Mother, I am Abeloth. I have awaken because of you, who are you and why have you come here...?

Ranvi: Where are you...?! How are you speaking to us?!

Abeloth: I am nowhere and everywhere at once... Once, long ago, I too had a physical body like you do, but not any more. Now, I am flowing with the **** and it allows me to reach out to all those who are near my prison. I will ask again. Who are you and why have you come here?

Lana: We aren't required to answer to you!

Abeloth: Hm, so be it. I know the answers anyway, I was just interested in hearing you saying them.

Drek: What...?!

Abeloth: You are Lana Ordo, Drek Modme and Ranvi. You are here to destroy me, once and for all, a goal even my children couldn't accomplish...

Ranvi: How did you...?!

Abeloth: I can read your minds as easily as one can read an open book...

Lana: So... You know we aren't friends of yours, why waste the time chattering with us...?

Abeloth: I have no intention to judge your pitiful mortal motivations. You may have come here with intentions of destroying me, but you are going to find nothing of that sort here. Nowhere else either, to be precise. I cannot be destroyed. My escape from this prison is inevitable.

Lana: They always say that before they are stopped!

Abeloth: I like your fiery spirit. The time of my escape is not due just yet. In your understanding, 60 standard galactic years will pass before I will be free again. I have waited for far more than you can imagine, this little more will not be a problem. Though, I could reward you if you had released me now...

Ranvi: Why would we do that...?!

Abeloth: My power is beyond your imagination or comprehension. I felt the **** of my family, without them, you have nothing that could rival my strength. The galaxy will be destroyed by me, it has been foreseen and it is inevitable. You might live to see that happen though... I could grant you power to be stronger than any other mortal in the galaxy.

Lana: We have no need for your gifts, thanks!

Abeloth: Hm, we shall see... I can see your future... Not a pleasant thing to say so. How about I showed you a glimpse of it, so you might change your mind and accept my generous proposal...?

You are all touched by a cold feeling and in a blink of an eye, you see a small glimpse of the future. Ranvi sees a droid invasion of her home world, Dathomir and the massacre of her people, leaving almost no Nightsister alive.

Drek sees a gray Jedi girl fighting Darth Sidious and defeating him. But by that time, you three were long dead, meaning you failed in stopping him and saving the galaxy.

You see the **** of all the Jedi you know. Afterwards, there were no Jedi in the galaxy, save for a few, only the darkness.
