A Change in Relationships (Post Lover's Walk)

Xander sat down sadly looking at Willow. They’d finally been discovered, “Cordelia broke up with me.”

“Tara did the same,” Willow replied.

“And Angel is back,” Xander added.

“Yeah, great,” Willow said despondently.

“Where does that put us?” Xander asked.

“Well, where are you, Buffy, and Faith?” she asked back. “I saw you talking to them this morning.”

“They…want me to come on patrol with them tonight.”

“That all?”

“I mean, it’s pretty clear that won’t be all.” Xander took a breath, “You want in?”

“No,” Willow said firmly. “But I wouldn’t mind a date.”

“Tomorrow?”

Willow nodded her head. She’d take things slow. Maybe she’d join the rest of them, maybe not. She needed a while to get over Tara.

Tara was not expecting Cordelia to knock on her door. “What do I owe the pleasure?”

Cordelia was fidgeting as she looked at her, “Want to 69 and see who can make the other cum first?”

Tara lightly laughed, “Missing Xander?”

Tara leaned against the doorframe, “What exactly are we looking at here?”
