After battle

After a long, hard battle the X-men defeated the Sentinel they were facing. They landed in a group, weary but victorious. Standing among the group of heroes was Jean Grey, Storm, Shadowcat, Psyloke, Rogue and Jubilee.

"That was a tough one!" Rogue exclaimed. "I'm glad there were so many of us at the mansion today."

"Yes, it seems they're evolving. Beast said, examinign the fallen Sentinel. "Curious."

His scientific rant was interrupted as a portal opened nearby. Everyone turned, shocked to see Spiral step through.

"What are you doing here?!" Longshot exclaimed.

"Casting." Spiral shrugged. Then she waved her six arms. at that moment portals opened behind all of the women on the team, who all shouted in shock as they were pulled through.

"Jean!" Cyclops grabbed at his wife as she was pulled through the portal. It closed before him and he swung around, furious at Spiral.

"What are you doing with them?!" He yelled.

Spiral's only response was to smirk and step back through her own portal which disappeared. The mutant men were left baffled, wondering what had happened to all the women on the team...
