What happens next?

The Doom

Once the garbage had settled, I scurried my way to the top of the mound, and found myself staring out of a window into open space. Starkiller Base became smaller and smaller by the second. I was too late, the Resistance had won. Just before the stars stretched into the blue tunnel of hyperspace, I watched as the small blue speck suddenly erupted in an orange explosion, blinding everything as far as the eye could see.

Starkiller Base was destroyed. Did anyone make it off, I wondered? Hux was on there, as was Kylo Ren. With them gone, I would be left to take over, second only to the Supreme Leader. It is a position I've prepared for, but with Starkiller gone, I found myself questioning if it was worth it. Sure, the Order still had the Supremacy, but the once feeble Resistance already took out one superweapon. It became clear to me that I would need to make an exit strategy. That is, if I even did reenter.

First things first, though. I had to prepare for my landing on the junk planet. I quickly stripped off the remaining pieces of my armor, leaving me in nothing but my black undersuit and boots. That armor could take a powerful blaster bolt, but agility would be the advantage here. Besides, there's another set on the Supremacy, should I choose to return. And supposing I don't, I've survived without it before. I can survive again.

At last, the ship exited hyperspace, and I began to think through my options. The vehicle is automated, with no cockpit, so I couldn't very well commandeer it. I chose to place my hope in the friendly scavengers of whatever world I'd be arriving on. Surely someone would have a ship.
