Final Round! Finish them!

A few more rounds were played without too much drama, your dad won Malon back from Collins and also took the Tea. After Collins put in his 10% share of a restaurant in the previous round, everyone else started putting in random amounts of shares they had all over town and beyond. Some of the businesses were ones you never even heard of, including restaurants you’ve never been to, clubs you were never on the list for, and casinos you haven’t been to.

You only won a single round as Collins always seemed to have the right cards and the others (mainly Hoofer and your dad) were able to snatch a last minute victory either legitimately or due to bluffing. The round you won did net you a restaurant somewhere though Don seemed very happy to be rid of it. When pressed, he said that he got the one she wanted and she got the two she thought he wanted.

“Okay everyone, it's starting to get late. How about one last round before we call it?” Your dad asked finally. You all nodded with Collins hiccuping with two large whiskey bottles by his side. Hoofer was nursing some chilled sake and your dad was surrounded by cocktail glasses. You were all going to be having hangovers in the morning.

“Yeah, let’s do it,” you say, eager to get home to enjoy your winnings. Hoofer and Don put their blind bids in sloppily and then the cards were distributed with you enjoying a Nine of Diamonds and a Five of Spades.

“I’m putting in an offer to pay for the training of ten characters at a great company,” your dad bet and wrote out a sloppy IOU.

“I am putting forth my Erza,” you say, raising the pot by a good amount. Collins looked at Erza with half-lidded eyes before he put in an equal amount of chips. The flop cards were revealed, showing two Kings and a Nine of Spades; you now had two pairs. Hoofer put some of the stock he won from your dad and Don. And Don put in his Hinata, finally running out of characters.

“I’m putting in five bottles of Miruvor from iteration 2500 of Lord of the Rings,” your dad says, adding another IOU to the pot. Tifa set a bottle of the elf liquor by him, and he quickly downed the revitalizing liquid.

“We-weren’t you saving that for something special?” Collins mumbled out.

“I recently got a lot more bottles, don’t worry about it,” your dad said, seemingly a lot more sober. You put in the keys for the civilian model of the Normandy SR-2 and several thousand dollars in chips.

Collins looked around the table before he bet chips and his Blake Belladonna whose ears flickered. You can barely hear the Cat Faunus girl make a comment that had Katara and Diana gasp and glare. The next card was revealed, a Five of Diamonds, leaving you to still have a Two Pair.

“I am putting forth five free installations of some of my prototype mods right before their release,” Hoofer put that IOU in the pot and looked around proudly for some reason.

“Would now be a good time to reveal that Hoofer has an Alex in the vents? Who is reporting people’s cards to him?” You say cheekily.

“How the hell did you know that!?” Hoofer shouted as he got on his feet.

“You aren’t the only one with eyes in unlikely places,” you gloated a bit as Hoofer glared at you. Your dad pressed a button and there was a startled scream from the vents. Alex was ejected out of a mechanical tube that came from the ceiling; she was flailing in the air before she was caught by Diana in your pen. Quite a few of your girls sneezed as they were covered in a bit of dust.

It took a bit of discussing but your dad convinced Hoofer to sit down and even allowed him to switch his bet to having the prototypes be severely discounted instead of free.

“I think I’ll–” Whatever Don was going to say was cut off when a large crash could be heard outside. Everyone seemed to sober up quickly and jumped to their feet as something was thrown through the doors. Looking at the figure on the ground, you let out a little groan.

“Heeey lil bro, dad, and other old dudes,” your slightly bruised older brother Gavin said casually as if being thrown through doors was normal. You briefly heard Hoofer let out a little ‘I knew it!’ as you helped Gavin up. Gavin was your slightly older brother by a few months and is one of Momma Midna’s children. He was dressed like a mix of a Shaggy and a Jude from 6Teen. “How’s your poker night doing?”

“Gavin, what’s going on?” Your dad asked cautiously as he and his friends approached the door carefully with Tifa putting on her gloves close behind. They quickly moved to the side as something or someone else was thrown in. Giving a quick glance, you could see Gavin's twin sister Molly who was wearing her skater outfit. She was armed with a paint coated axe and water pistols.

“Hey lil bro, congrats on finding Star,” Molly said as she got up and shook off some paint or slime on her clothes.

“Gavin! Molly! What the hell is happening?” Your dad glares at them. They sheepishly looked away from him, chuckling nervously.

“Well remember how there was a little breach in the salmonoid enclosure earlier?” Gavin asked. Your dad nodded while his friends went into the hall.

“The one you were supposed to investigate when you were having an orgy?”

“Well, it turns out one of the little dudes became a big one.” As soon as Molly finished saying that, a loud roar was heard. Peeking out, you could see a large Cohozuna or king salmonoid from Splatoon 3 being confronted by Kailani and other Inklings/Octolings and Suvelo armed with Inkling weapons. Your dad’s friends grabbed several weapons from splatted Inklings/Octolings and laid down a firing line.

The Cohozuna smashed through walls and bounced, breaking through parts of the ceiling and floor. Katara ran ahead of you and waterbended the loose friendly ink from the walls and sent it at the massive monstrosity. The beast turned to face Katara and by extension your group and started to charge at you. You all were backing up when a shout was heard from the other end of the hall.

“Eat this bitch!” Kailani the Inkling shouted as she held up a likely illegally modified rainmaker from Splatoon 3. The Cohozuna turned around and instantly received the shot to the mouth and swallowed it. Kailani dropped the rainmaker in shock. “I guess you can eat that… oh boy.” Kailani backed up nervously but stopped when the Cohozuna started to swell up. BOOOSH! It exploded and covered everyone and everything in ink and paint.

You were stunned and blinking away the ink that covered your eyes when Rayla came up behind you. “Well, that was a thing.”
