Becky and Tegan meet at lockdown!

as the pay per view begins Tegan walks down to the ring.

the crowd boos her.

Tegan fights tears but she knows she has to say what she has come to say.

Tegan climbs into the ring.

"hey Boston!" she says trying to control her voice.

there's a few cheers for Tegan and she touches her mouth as she smiles.

"I just want to say thank you to the wwe universe for everything!

if this is truly my last match in wwe I just want to say I love you, whether you booed me or cheered me!"

the crowd cheered and began chanting "thank you Tegan!"

"and thank YOU!" Tegan said **** back a sob.

Becky's music hits and Becky walks down to the ring.

wordlessly Becky hugs her and the crowd cheers.

Becky raises a mic.

"what do ya say we give them one HELL OF A SHOW!"

Tegan grins and wipes her eyes.

"I say we DO IT!"

the crowd cheers.

later that night...

Becky is sitting backstage mentally preparing.

"this feels wrong."

behind her Kaylee gently squeezes her shoulders.

"don't ye get cold feet now, love. ye go out there and ye bring it as hard as Tegan does. if ye don't ye'll be askin' AEW fer a job."

"an' I'm sure they'd love ta have me." Becky told her.

"but I'm not goin' anywhere."

"good. neither am I. if ye lose it'll be the end o' us te."

Becky stood and drew her close kissing her slowly and tenderly.

"I ain't given' ye up Kaylee." Becky whispered into Kaylee' mouth as they kissed again.

meanwhile...

Tegan quietly warmed up in her locker room.

"Tegan?" Tegan turned to see Dakota kai in the door way.

"hey." Dakota walked over and Tegan enfolded her in a warm hug.

Dakota gripped Tegan's face and kissed her hard, giving her lots of tongue.

their lips smacked loudly.

"for luck." Dakota whispered with tears in her eyes.

"don't cry." Tegan whispered. "please."

Dakota wrapped her arms around Tegan sobbing quietly.

Tegan gently stroked Dakota's thick brown hair and held her tight in her arms wishing there was some reassurance she could give her.

Dakota gazed into her eyes.

"win. just win." she whispered.

later that night both of them made their entrances.

Kaylee watched backstage, feeling it was best she stay neutral.

Tegan walked down to the ring wearing white shorts and a matching short top with light sky blue kneepads and boots, her hair in a long pony tail.

Becky wore her black shorts and the man tank top.

they entered the ring and the cage descended upon them.

the match began and they locked up. Tegan began over powering Becky. surprised Becky let go and backed up.

she saw pain and determination on Tegan's face.

Tegan meant to win even if it meant her friends career was destroyed.

with a yell Tegan charged at her. the clothesline connected and Becky reeled back into the cage wall.

Tegan grabbed Becky by the hair and began pressing her face into the steel links.

"AAAGH!" Becky cried out in pain but she broke free knocking Tegan back.

Becky landed a stiff punch to Tegan's face and Tegan staggered back clutching her jaw.

Tegan hit Becky with a thesz press pounding her face hard with punches.

Becky struggled to her feet, but even as she did so Tegan nailed her hard with the shiniest wizard.

Becky lay on her back, head spinning.

Becky crawled on her hands and knees fighting the urge to vomit.

she hoped she wasn't concussed.

Becky got to her feet at last.

"stay down!" Tegan pleaded.

there was pain in Tegan's eyes. but Becky rose, refusing to give up.

Becky had to show Tegan she had the heart of a champion.

as much as Becky loved Tegan like a sister, she had to win this fight.

Tegan speared Becky into the cage wall.

Becky let out an "OOF!" of pain as she connected, the wind knocked out of her.

Becky let loose a flurry if gut punches and Tegan staggered back.

"what have ya got ta gain Tegan?" Becky gasped, breathing hard.

"you know as well as I do Becky, the loser leaves wwe for good!"

"ya know that's not what I meant!" Becky countered.

"why WHY? do you need ta fight me!? Tegan we were like sisters!"

Tegan looked hurt.

"I KNOW Becky!" Tegan grabbed Becky by the shoulder and hip and ran her toward the opposite wall and threw her the rest of the way.

Becky cried out as she slammed into the steel links.

Becky sank down to the mat leaning against the cage as Tegan stalked toward her.
