Naruto was walking down the road as he listened to his teammates. they were in a diamond position with Tazuna in the middle of them. Kakashi was in the back with his teammates on either side of Tazuna. "hey Tazuna why did you come to the leaf village for ninja does wave not have any," asked Sakura.

"How did you get the top grades," Naruto said under his breath. it was not soft enough to be missed by his teammates. seeing this he said, "ninja villages take a large sum of money to run. while for bigger nations they can provide the funding for villages. tiny nations like wave or moon it is just cheaper to hire ninja from other villages."

"Naruto is right," said Kakashi. "Wave has never been known for its large economy. it is mainly known for its fishing and having very skilled builders."

"He is right, and I am proud to be amongst those great builders, and once the bridge is built it will be a star of my legacy. well outside my daughter and grandson of course," Tazuna said with pride.

"Oh, I see," said Sakura.

the group continued in silence till Naruto saw a pair of puddle in the road. knowing the weather, the last few days he motioned to Kakashi. Sasuke saw the motion and looked at the puddles. he did not know what was significant about them, but he was on guard. Kakashi motioned to keep going and see who their target was. nodding his head Naruto moved past the puddles.

the group passed the puddles till Kakashi moved past it. suddenly two ninja's jumps out of the water and appear to rip Kakashi to pieces. before they could change position, Naruto and Sasuke were on them. the pair **** them apart causing the chain to go tight.

"Dammit separate the chain Gozu," said one of them. "I'll handle the brats get the bridge builder.

"Got it Meizu," said the other one. the chain soon separated. Meizu tried to handle both boys but found Sasuke on him in an instant and kept his full attention.

Sakura remained frozen in place as Gozu made his way towards her. he smiled behind his rebreather till he felt something hit him in the back of his head. then he found he could not move. "Stay boy," said Naruto with a smirk. he had put a paralysis tag on Gozu's head. he then turned to help Sasuke only to see Kakashi appear and knock the other one out.

"Naruto Sasuke good work," said Kakashi.

"Kakashi sensei how," said Sakura in confusion. she then looked and saw scraps of wood where he was.

"genjutsu," Sasuke answered.

"Correct Sasuke. Now Tazuna I think we have something to discus," said Kakashi.
