You just want to have a bath today

After taking a moment to consider both options, you decide that you only want to bathe today. Maybe you will try the massage next time.

The old gnome nods and opens a large leather-bound ledger. “How long would you like to stay, dear?” She asks, flipping through the pages until coming to a stop about half-way through. Peeking over the counter, you can just make out columns on the pages with small, scrawled writing detailing the prices paid by customers and the services they had.

The woman looks up at you expectantly. You have all day to yourself and money isn’t an issue, so you pay for 90 minutes in the baths, a bottle each of shampoo and body wash and a deposit to borrow a towel. In total, you pay 3 gold and 9 silver. She notes everything down in her book before reaching under the counter for your items.

“Thank you very much dear.” She clambers down from her chair and begins pointing down the hallway. “Now, head down this corridor. The first few doors on either side are for the massages, so you can ignore those. The third door on your left heads to the women’s baths or the door at the end of the corridor leads to the mixed baths, depending on your privacy needs. You can also ring a bell in either of the baths to summon one of our staff if you want any refreshments or if there is an issue. I hope you enjoy your time here.”

You thank her and she gives you a warm smile and a nod as you start walking up the corridor.
