The next day

Remy wasn't surprised when he woke up and Dani was nowhere to be found.

They had to stay under the radar and Dani hanging around would probably gather some attention.

Remy still wasn't sure what Rogue's plan was, but he trusted that she knew what to do.

He was still surprised by recent events, he'd never figured for her to be as devious as he could be, but she'd proven that recently.

He looked her over and, even with all the mental changes she'd apparently embraced, she was still the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen.

She opened her eyes and gave him a big smile.

"Morning, Sugah." Rogue casually said as she got out of his bed, giving him some time to enjoy the sight of her nude body.

He'd made a deal with the devil last night, but watching her walk around and gather her underwear, he was sure it was the right choice.

Still, he couldn't believe how casual she was at the moment, making small talk about what she had planned for the day, like the events of last night hadn't even happened.

"So, last night wasn't a dream?" He asked, although he knew it wasn't.

"Hell no, it wasn't." She said with a conspiratorial wink.

Remy smiled back at her, he wasn't sure what to ask, but he had about 12 million questions at the moment.

Not that he really thought he was gonna get all of those questions answered on day one.

Rogue proved yesterday that she was as good at keeping things secret as he was.

Maybe that was part of the thing that drew them together, even if they hadn't realized it at the time.

"So, what happens next?" He asked, getting a bit of a shrug from Rogue.

"We live our lives for now, nothing much we can do until the time is right." She said, getting a nod from Remy.

"We don't meet our compatriots any time soon?" He asked, unable to resist a few more questions.

"Everyone's quiet for now, we gotta just hunker down for a little while, wait until things are ready." Rogue said, Remy wanted to ask 'ready for what?" but he decided better of it and he simply kept his mouth shut.

"How about we get a quick shower in before breakfast?" She asked with a smile on her face.

Remy gave her a grin back and soon enough they on their way to the shower, ready to fuck their brains out yet again.
