Luke and Rebecca walk the Mall

As they walked Luke wondered how everyone was doing. He knew Olivia and Liz went back to the restaurant. While his other baby mamas either stayed at the store or left for the day.

"Excuse us," Rebecca said pushing through the crowd.

Luke eyed his fiancée. She was a strong, successful, powerhouse of a woman. The business suit was a nice look for her. But she might have trouble pulling it off after their baby starts to show.

"What are you looking at?" Rebecca said glancing back.

"Oh, sorry just admiring your suit. I don't usually see you in one." Luke said being pulled from his thoughts.

"Ah, well you did lie to me about the 'Breeding Passes'. You had me believing they were a game, and I was to avoid being seen as a woman." Rebecca said pulling Luke by the arm.

"Well, I didn't lie to you. I just frame the truth in a way to have you reach the store safely." Luke said smiling.

"Hmm," Rebecca said remembering Shannon's explanation.

Rebecca recalled Shannon explaining away, how Luke needed to use a 'Breeding Pass" on everyone. Shannon had wanted to invite everyone to learn the truth of magic. And that required everyone to become Life Witches. Which meant everyone needed to be pregnant. Such a strange turn of events. But no sense wondering about it now.

"Well, I am glad things worked out. After I hire a few magical tutors we will be on our way. We will be free from being victims of any future 'Breeding Days'." Rebecca said eyeing the crowds.

Although, Rebecca resent Shannon forcing people to come into the Sunny Day mall. She now was gratified to learn the truth of magic. People were being messed with. And now that she was a Life Witch, she would no longer be one of them.

The pare went silent for a time. Each one of them was deep in thought. But that proved a disadvantage as they turned a corner.

Wham!

Luke was hit in the chest as a young woman ran straight into him.

"What the?" Rebecca said looking down a the young woman on the floor.

"Miss are you okay?" Luke said bending down.

The young woman was flat on her ass looking up.

"Sorry, I," the Woman said before springing back up to her feet.

"I need to go. This place is crazy. My boyfriend just said he was going to knock me up and tried handing me a 'Breeding Pass'." the Woman said looking back from where she came.

"Thank God that some middle-aged woman walked in between us. They just started kissing right there." the Woman said in a rush.

"If your boyfriend handed a fertile woman a 'Breeding Pass' he will be busy for a time," Luke said looking down the hall.

"If you don't want to become a mother yourself, It's best you leave the mall," Rebecca said softly putting a hand to the young woman's shoulder.

"What?" the Woman said turning.

"Luke, let's help this fine lady to the exit. We are going to be late if we dally." Rebecca said grabbing Luke's arm.

"Sure," Luke said as he continued to eye the crowd.

"Miss, follow us. Unless you want to run through the mall some more" Luke said smiling down.

"Ye ... Yes," the Woman said still shaken.

"I tell you, Shannon had the right idea getting everyone to become Life Witches. I don't think I could stand the fear regular victims of the 'Breeding Day' are feeling. Let's get moving. Who knows what is going to happen next." Rebecca said.
