First Inspection...and Meeting

Yuri and Thelsia were going around with a small bag's worth of maps of the area, their primary objective was to confirm what monsters occupied what parts of the area. Currently, they were in the woods to the east of town. So far they confirmed where there were concentrations of the 3 local rabbit monsters (Fanged Rabbit, Horned Rabbit, Drill-Horn Rabbit) and taken out a few for both samples and because they were attacked by said monsters, they were moving on to where it was often reported deer-like monsters and plant-type monsters frequented. The concept of self-mobile plant monsters was not a pleasant thought for Yuri, Thelsia told him it was unsettling for her and others as well. This was their play at Yuri's suggestion, they were mostly seeing just how much information about the surrounding area they could get, Yuri was marking down monsters and Theslia was marking down gatherable resources.

Things got a bit more interesting when they encountered a pair of individuals, a sexy demon-kin that was dressed in some sort of hentai parody of Indiana Jones's classic look, and a rabbit beastkin that was dressed in body covering midnight blue clothes. To say Yuri was surprised by the rabbit woman's attire would be an understatement, every female he had seen in this world so far, including the bunny's companion, was wearing attire that looked like it belonged in a porn movie or hentai series. Yuri had thought that to himself, a few times already, Thelsia was just a few steps away from being a girl in some sort of tentacle porn project. Of course, he never said anything about it out loud and intended to keep things that way for as long as possible.

Lithira was a capable Ranger, she was also an archeologist fascinated with the past of Erotolsia and was very well built around that. She was a capable archer, was decent at melee combat, and had a strong spirit of exploration, being registered as an Adventurer mostly meant she had a wider selection of places to earn income while having far fewer restrictions than if she were to be employed by some sort of institution. Granted, she was an accomplished academic, not quite as most mages and the like, but enough to not be completely taken in by the false promises that often floated about. Her vibrant blue skin showed off just how non-human she was, and her stylish horns resembled icicles with the impression a green flame was spreading from within their core. Her attire was based on an image of an archeologist she had witnessed in a dream ages ago, she never got a name, she just knew what the attire was. Granted, her attire was more revealing than that image from the dreamscape but she actually liked it that way. Lithira's figure was actually pretty pronounced, a pair E-Cup breasts and a juicy but firmly toned ass were all hers, in addition to the sinful tail with a heart-shaped spaded tip she was born with. Her companion, Usagi, had been with her for quite some time, the rabbit woman didn't have much of a figure and was far from a conversationalist most days, but she had the skills to deal with a lot of problems and was willing to put up with Lithira and the places she was dragged to for some reason. Needless to say, running into what looked like a mage and a genuine male (assuming it wasn't someone the mage turned into one for a lark) was quite the surprise.

Usagi was a capable shinobi, she was one of the more capable kunoichis from her clan. Her clan head had sent her, and at least 5 others, out to find those to assist in replenishing the clan. The clan was dwindling to a smaller size every few years, in a few decades it would be untenable, and their usual rituals to allow new offspring to emerge were seeming to lose their effectiveness with each use. When she had found the demon-kin archeologist she had thought spending time with her would offer up opportunities to find more ancient and forgotten rituals her clan could use. The shinobi clans were built on self-sufficiency, being reliant on outside forces like churches wasn't always an option, and might prove problematic at the most inconvenient times. Having access to means that could be made of better use without going to outside forces was best. Usagi usually wore the more revealing attire under her stealth outfit, being with less attire made information gathering and the like easier in populated areas, she wouldn't draw undesired attention to herself, and it was common to go with very little on back at home, fewer restraints on movement. Granted, she didn't seem to have as defined a figure as others, even her traveling companion had a more pronounced bust and rear. Her dark grey fur was suited to covert operations. She even registered as an Adventurer, it gave her access to more resources than she usually would. Of course, she had a massive focus shift when she and the archeologist almost bumped into what appeared to be a mage and a male, the origin of this male was very important to her, there was no reason for someone to be going around with a partner and be the only male, this male came from somewhere and if she could determine where he was from and how to potentially get more then it might just be what the clan required for growing its numbers again.

"Um, hi," said the male in a friendly, but confused, voice, "I'm Yuri, and this my associate," he gestured to the mage.

"Thelsia," said the mage, "to what do we owe the pleasure of this unexpected encounter?"

Both of them had odd names, but the names were still a bit feminine. "I'm Lithira," said Lithira, "and this is my associate," she gestured to the rabbit woman, "Usagi."

The male blinked a few moments before seeming to hold back amusement as he said, "Sorry to point this out, in case you didn't know, but where I'm from that name is known to mean 'Bunny,' so we have a rabbit woman named Bunny, a bit ironic, don't you think?"

For the first time ever, Lithira heard Usagi laugh, and a laughing rabbit sound utterly confused her, and unnerved her. And judging by the looks on the faces of the other two, they felt similarly. As Usagi's laughter subsided the mage, Thelsia, said, "We were out doing a job for the guild master when we encountered you. I think it best we bring you back into town to meet her, you can explain what you were doing out here then. Also, I have a feeling some other things might need to be explained to you, for a variety of reasons."

Usagi just quietly nodded, she hadn't noticed sooner since she usually tended to have a pretty tight hold on her emotional state but she really wanted to throw out all decorum with this male and let him have his way with her, and chances were Lithira was repressing a similar urge. "That sounds like the best idea at the moment," said Lithira, "lead the way."

With that, the two they bumped into gestured in the direction they needed to go.
