Suggesting New Tasks

After letting Thelsia get the more intense kinky stuff out of her system, Yuri suggested the two of them try something a little different for their tasks for the day. Thelsia was all on board with the plan, probably because it meant alone time with Yuri for her, but she still said they had to get the plan okayed by the guild master. Yuri and Thelsia got dressed and headed down to the guild building, as quickly as possible. Thankfully, it was just barely past sunrise when the two got to the guild building, the orc woman that was present on Yuri's first visit was present, Yuri decided to not approach her for several different reasons. Thelsia approached the orc and talked with her for a bit before returning to Yuri.

"The guild master is in," said Thelsia, "but it looks like we're lucking out, I don't really pay much attention to dates, so it's no surprise the fact I forgot there's a religious celebration going on, most of the town will be down near the temple taking part in the festivities."

"Aside from essential workers," said Yuri, "and those that would rather not attend, chances are they were given reminders if they forgot on the off chance they intended to take part in the festivities. Let's get going." With that, the pair headed up to the guild master's chamber.

Selvina greeted them as they came in, she had been anticipating a meeting with one or both of them. "Greetings you two," said Selvina in a friendly voice, "what brings you in so early."

"I had a thought," said Yuri, Thelsia made her way over to one of the seats and plopped herself down with far less elegance or dignity she seemed to project in public, Yuri decided to just stand off to the side of the door, "do you have someone to check areas for requests, missions, and the like?"

The sexy wolf woman did a quick look through her documents at the desk before saying, "Not officially, or unofficially, but that does sound like a good idea. What do you have in mind?"

"We both know I can't hang around in town, if I'm alone I'll probably get antsy and if I'm with someone chances are they'll so frisky with me they'll ignore their usual duties and likely not notice when a call goes out for them."

"Fair points," came Thelsia's voice from her position.

"So, you are suggesting to take on that sort of role," inquired Selvina.

"Think of it as a sort of quality control," said Yuri, "I'm the test the run, and it would also give you an excuse to have the rest of the staff do checks on all the requests, especially since you can tell everyone you have someone looking into the area of the request. It could also work as a check on where resources of the area that might need gathering for some sort of request."

"An excellent idea," said Selvina in a matronly voice, "and it will give you an excuse to be outside of town for extended periods of time until a point where you would have fewer people to deal with on a regular basis. That said, you will have a team to work with, Thelsia has been requiring more to do with her free time. You're free to add more members to your team, I have a feeling that will be something unavoidable for you."

"Given the way this world seems to be structured," said Yuri with a deadpan tone to his voice.
