Plans Being Made

Sylvia was sitting in the room that listed everyone's transformations and VP. Wow. I can't believe how many points everyone has earned. Everyone except for Jenny that's had a date with Bruce has taken such a lead.

_I know she isn't worried about it but Jenny needs to get positive before the challenge. Both her and Alex can be so stubborn. We don't know how the scoring for challenges works so I really don't want to take any chances. Jenny already has so many changes compared to everyone. Who knows how many she'll end up with if she stays negative. But how can I convince her to come with me?- - - - - -

Now that she was no longer distracted by her curiosity over Lydia's date, Gwen was once more checking out the various channels on her new TV. To her surprise she thought she had found a channel showing anime but quickly found out it was devoted to hentai. Another seemed to be a 24 four hour loop of various let's plays Sally had made.

Let's get to know our host a bit. Gwen went to the dining hall and got herself a bowl of popcorn and a Dr. Pepper. Returning she settled down to watch Sally's play through for a while. _Oh this might be fun. She's doing a blind play through of Five Night's at Freddy's. Candy settled herself down into one of the large Snorlax bean bags while Jessica dug through her PC looking for Candy's copy of the rule book “Found it” Jessica declared as she pressed a button and the book appeared in Candy's lap. “Interesting. Even though I used the computer the book was automatically sent to you when I pulled it out.”

“Yeah that's how it seems to work. They claimed this room was a prize from being high on the popularity polls and while it is better than some of the others in a lot of ways, I think I've figured out that all of the rooms have a downside to them. This one seems to be our dependence on those computers. They have no password so anyone can access them and potentially mess with us.”

“What do you mean mess with you?”

“Well as an example with a few button presses over there you could strip me naked regardless of where I am. And it's not like this room has amazing security or anything so anyone could easily break in and use it. Honestly I'm hoping I'm a little less popular next round because I really don't want to have to deal with the stress of those things.”

Jessica flopped down into the bean bag next to her. “Still you must be at least a little flattered that the audience liked you so much. You were voted second place and I'm pretty confident you only lost because Luanne became Tifa.”

Candy snorted. “I don't really care what the kind of people that watch a show like this think about me. Horny little perverts the lot of them. Yeah you heard me audience. Fuck you. Why don't you stop wasting your time with horrible shows like this and go out and meet a real girl.” To punctuate her sentence she flipped off the air.

“Please don't antagonize them” Jessica said looking worried. “In case you've forgotten they control what transformations we get.”

“No matter what they pick we probably wouldn't like it anyway. Now let's crack this book open and get to reading.”

Lydia made her way around the shopping disk looking for the next destination required for her plans. Now that I've got VP, I need to lock it in. From what I read there are a lot of ways to potentially lose your VP this season so I need to ensure I don't lose it.

Finally finding her destination she saw a large building decorated with various video game currencies. Rupees, gold coins, golden rings, and several others. Unlike many of the other places here with there bad parody names this building was simply labeled BANK. Gotcha.

Stepping inside Lydia was greeted with the kind of sight of exactly what you would expect the inside of a stereotyped bank to look like. Row upon row of counters for customers to use and a small waiting area to the side. The only abnormal part was all the moogles floating around everywhere. Only unlike the rest of the moogles that Lydia had encountered so far these ones were all wearing little business suits and carrying tiny briefcases.

Seeing a check in kiosk Lydia walked up to it and checked over the options. VP withdrawal, VP deposit, BP loans, and Loan repayment were listed on the screen. Clicking VP deposit the machine printed out a piece of paper with 001 written on it and the kiosk screen told her to please wait until her number is called.

Lydia moved over to the waiting area with a roll of her eyes. I'm literally the only customer here. This is stupid. For some reason, probably Sally's joke on how these things always take longer than they should, Lydia had to wait at least 15 minutes before an announcement played. “Counter 1 is now helping customer 001, kupo.”

Finally. Lydia made her way up to the counter. “I would like to deposit all of my VP please.”

“Alrighty then, kupo. And you are aware that deposited VP does not count towards your VP total as long as it is stored in the bank, kupo?”

“Yes I am aware.”

Lydia: 9 – 9 = 0 VP

Lydia: 9 VP in Bank

Lydia walked away from the counter. Alright. That's that taken care of. Now I just have one more major thing to accomplish before the challenge. I need to do something about the Candy problem before she gets me. She had a lot of BP at the beginning of the round and there's no way for me to check if she still has it. Also if her popularity holds she could get a lot more next round and could really hit me with something. There's got to be something I can do to distract her from me.

As Lydia passed the kiosk she stopped and stared at it. If I take a loan I could get enough BP to upgrade one of her transformations. But is taking a loan worth it? Do I take the loan or not?
