ORACLE DD Ch 9

“Who’s going to do this, Lucius? If we don’t?” Barbara asks.

“Understood, Ms. Gordon.” There’s a pause. “And Barbara?”

“Yeah?”

“I believe in what you’re doing.”

“We go all the way. And if something happens to me, you and Ivy can still get it over the finish line.”

“You think Aria’s gunning for you?”

“I hope so. Goodnight, Lucius.”

Barbara ends the call as the door bangs open. A dripping Kate Kane enters with Viti Saxena, followed by several members of the security detail.

“You guys OK?” Barbara asks, wheeling her chair around.

“Still in one piece,” Kate says. “Thanks to Zatanna. And Spoiler.”

“What happened? Where’d you go?”

“That can wait.” Kate shoos the security detail back into the hallway and closes the door, then sits Viti on a stool at the counter and grabs a bottle of wine. She pours a little jerkily. “Are you OK?” She looks into Viti’s eyes.

Viti nods.

“Jesus Christ.” Kate pulls off her wet jacket and throws it into the hallway with a splat, then pours wine for herself. “They lured us out. Spoiler and her crew showed up. It wasn’t pretty, but we’d be dead if they hadn’t.”

Barbara grimaces, but she expected this. The odds of Spoiler and the others actually following the instructions of the mayor had been less than zero.

“Since when is Zatanna running with Spoiler?” Barbara asks.

“I don’t know. First time I’ve seen them out together. Hel—I mean Huntress was there too. Spoiler took out Bane like he was nothing.”

“That doesn’t sound right.”

“It isn’t right. But I got shot, and Zatanna healed me like that.” Kate snaps her fingers. “So, I am high on life right now.” She lifts her glass, then throws it back.

That’s fair.

“I’m going to bed,” Barbara tells her.

Kate gazes at her. “You want help cleaning up? Want someone to wash your back? Your front?”

Viti looks up in disbelief. “Forget what just happened, Kate. Are you flirting with the mayor? You—you can’t do that.”

“She can. We go back,” Barbara says with a snort. “I don’t need help.”

“I didn’t ask if you needed it.” Kate turns and reaches out, putting her fingertip under Viti’s chin. “Offer’s open to you too, beautiful.”

“OK, but for real this time,” Barbara says, shaking her head in disbelief. “That’s the police commissioner, Kate. You and she do not go way back. And I think she’s just been traumatized. Can you be appropriate?”

“Why? Babs, all hell broke loose tonight. God knows what tomorrow’s gonna look like. What exactly are we supposed to be waiting for?”

ORACLE

Screams drown out all other sound in Zatanna’s penthouse suite.

Helena’s spine is bent at a terrifying angle from the passionate way that she arches her back. On her knees, Stephanie holds Helena’s hips off the bed and fucks her with the power and tempo of a jackhammer, making sweat fly from the other woman’s violently bouncing breasts. Helena claws at the covers and shrieks, cumming over and over as Stephanie doesn’t let up. Helena is several inches taller and twenty pounds heavier, but Stephanie handles her as though she weighs nothing.

Zatanna sits beside them in her torn fishnets, watching rapt as she touches herself, mouth open and a hungry look in her eyes. She gazes enviously at the cock plunging into Helena’s soaking folds until Stephanie finally grunts and goes in to the hilt.

Her cock comes out, leaping upright and flinging sparkling drops as Helena falls to the bed, pussy oozing.

Stephanie jerks a little more out onto Helena’s trembling belly, then gives Zatanna a look. The magician hurriedly crawls over and swallows Stephanie’s sticky cock. Scarcely even breathing hard, Stephanie places one hand on Zatanna’s glossy, bobbing head, and sighs.

ORACLE

Viti might be a good kisser under different circumstances.

Bathing got skipped, and they only got as far as their underwear, which is pulled down or askew as needed. Face to face with Barbara on her side, Viti takes it gently from Kate.

Viti’s kissing is clumsy, and she moans into Barbara’s mouth as she ineffectually fumbles between her legs with her fingers.

Kate’s thrusts are tender, but her hand is rough as she gropes Viti’s breast and kisses her neck.

Viti cries out, then whines. Her chubby cock bumps against Barbara’s smooth skin, then bursts, setting off all kinds of throbs and feelings between Barbara’s legs. She wants to take over touching herself, but she kisses Viti deeper instead. Kate’s tall and limber enough to be greedy. Still fucking Viti, she leans to bully her way into the kiss. Barbara’s hand is in Kate’s hair, and Viti’s panting is in her ear.

And for a few minutes, she doesn’t have to think about Gotham.

ORACLE

“People aren’t happy,” Stevens says without hesitation.

It’s very late. Lucius Fox is sandy-eyed in his office at Wayne Enterprises. The bespectacled man standing in front of his desk goes on.

“There are people at this company who have been hurt by her. By freaks like her. People with mortgages. People paying twenty-five hundred dollars a week for childcare, and this woman gets a floor to herself. Money is no object. The entire weight of the company behind a redemption storyline that you’re pushing on the media. Our security staff is literally arranging conjugal visits for this woman. Do you expect people to like this? What happens to this company if there’s footage of Gotham’s mayor having a three-way with an Arkham inmate and a mass murderer, and we make it completely clear to the shareholders that the future of the company depends on these people with this new direction? Especially now that the mayor is a fucking warlord dictator. How do I know Poison Ivy isn’t running this company? How do you?”

Lucius doesn’t have to answer, and Stevens doesn’t have to explain. Billions of dollars in market loss and a quick change of direction from the board would be the most likely outcomes if someone were to go nuclear with this approach. Lucius would be **** out, and Wayne Enterprises would distance itself from Ivy as quickly as possible.

“Maybe that’s what needs to happen,” Stevens says. “Maybe Gotham needs a wakeup call.”

It’s not the first time a Wayne employee has tried to extort the company. It’s not even the first time it’s happened to Lucius’s face this way. Stevens has chosen his moment well, though. The company is poised to take power on a scale never seen before, but it is also uniquely ****.

Should Lucius buy him off?

Or refuse to deal?

What's next?
