Not straight away

"I have half a mind to visit one of your classes and show your students just how "badass" their teacher is when a simple poke to the ribs sends you over the edge." Miranda threatened.

"Do it, and I'll just might give them a lesson on how to use their skills in the bedroom." Jack fired back.

"You can't do that! You're a teacher!"

"My kids are eighteen years old, Honey Bunch. They've seen those kinds of holovids!" Jack said, rolling her eyes. Half a second later, she thoughtfully added, "Except Ramones. That girl acts like she was a born and raised nun."

"You are just insufferable!" Miranda groaned, "I'd actually feel sorry who whomever you actually wanted to marry, if I didn't get stuck with you!"

"Ha! Like you'd ever see me tied down willingly!" Jack scoffed as she leaned back, placing her hands behind her head as she put her feet up on the coffee table.

"Feet. Off!"

"Nope!" Jack simply replied. "Besides, men, women, and alien alike have tried to wine and dine me, but not a single one managed to put a ring on it!"

"Probably because they woke up the next morning, saw who they slept with, and went off to drink away the bad memories..." Miranda muttered under her breath.

However, she wasn't silent enough.

"Care to repeat that, Honey Bear?" Jack spat venomously, glaring the dark haired woman down.

"First off, stop with these stupid cringy pet names already! And second -" Miranda began, stopping briefly as she finally took notice of something. Or rather, something that should've been here. "Jack, where are our clothes?"

"Don't change the subject!" Jack barked as her fists began to glow a light blue. "Are you trying to say that I'm just one night stand material?! That I couldn't get a date if I wanted too?! That I'm terrible in bed?! Funny, I don't remember you complaining once! In fact, I'll have you know I've been -"

"No! Jack! Our clothes are gone! And our omnitools!"

Jack looked around and went wide eyed. "What the fuck?!" She snapped before turning to Miranda, "What the hell did you do with them?!"

"What did I do with them?!" Miranda shrieked. "You're the one who came out here dressed in a towel! And actually think here, why the hell would I do anything to keep us naked together longer?!"

"Well they didn't get up and freaking walk away, Miranda!"

Miranda opened her mouth to retaliate, only to close it as a thought came to her mind. "Jack, how many people were in here earlier?"

"I don't know! I was too busy freaking out over being butt ass naked in front of my kids!"

"Well, counting your students, my sister, and our friends, I remember counting forty individuals." Miranda continued, "And I remember now that not all of them left."

"Yeah. Duh! Ori just left here earlier."

"No, Jack." Miranda said, "Forty people entered, but only thirty-eight left."

Jack looked at Miranda as if the woman had grown a second head before it finally clicked with her. The tattooed woman growled murderously with a snarl. "I will skin that little bitch alive!"
