Not all

As I stand in the entrance hall, I see some light still burning in the living room. I go into the living room and see Ram lying on the couch.

I go to her and only then notice that she is asleep. I shake her awake and after a few seconds she opens her eyes.

"Hello" she says dreamily and slowly sits up. "What happened?" she asks, "I guess you fell asleep. Did you overdo it a little today?"

"No, all good" she says and yawns. "I was just waiting for you. A maiden should always look to see if her master gets home all right." She stands up. "Do you want me to take your suit jacket off?" she asks politely.

"You don't have to. Come let's go upstairs and I'll take you to your room. Then you can sleep there." Ram just nods and we go upstairs together.

Once upstairs I first take Ram to her room. "Good night" I say to her. "Good night" she replies and I close the door. Then I go to my room, change my clothes and go to bed.

I review the day. I bought 2 new characters. I also met a friend at the event who could teach me a few things since he has been around for a while.

I close my eyes and since the day was very exhausting I quickly fall asleep.

In the night I wake up briefly. Half asleep, I feel something next to me, but I think nothing of it and continue to sleep.

The next day I open my eyes and feel well rested. The sun shines through the window and it's probably again a little later than normal, but this is due to the long evening.

I turn around to get up, but it's not so easy. Someone is lying next to me, asleep.

Ram's pink hair is loose and covers her left eye, as always. She is wearing her pajamas and has snuggled under my blanket. In her sleep she snores cutely and I watch things for another minute.

Then she slowly wakes up too. She rubs her eyes, then opens them and looks around. "Good morning" I say to her and smile at her.

"Good morning" she returns, looking a little confused. "Where am I?" she asks me and continues to look around my room.

"You are in my bedroom lying in bed with me" I say trying not to laugh. All of a sudden Ram's eyes go wide and she jumps up.

"I-I'm sorry" she says and quickly runs out of the room. What was that all about? I ask myself and get up too. I take a shower like I do every morning and get dressed. Then I go down to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Ikumi and Hermione are sitting and having breakfast together. "Good morning" I wish them both. "Good morning" they say back. I grab a loaf of bread and some egg and sit down at the table with the two of them.

"How was your event yesterday?" asks Ikumi as I put some egg on my bread. "It was really good. I talked a lot with another guest" I reply and bite into my bread.

"That doesn't sound too bad." "What was the event?" Hermione asks me curiously.

This could be interesting if I tell her the truth. "It was an event by RealDreams, the company that sells characters like you" I answer her and look at her reaction.

I only notice a small twitch from her. I'm sure she had already figured this out.

"There should be two new characters arriving for me today. The first one first thing in the morning and the other one later today."

They both react differently to this news. Ikumi says "oh there are new ones coming already?" in a jealous tone, while Hermione tries to stay matter-of-fact but you can clearly see her anger in her voice and facial expressions. "Two more new ones to keep us company, I'm looking forward to it."

"Where is Ram anyway?" asks Ikumi. "She's usually up with me in the morning." "She was up late yesterday. I think she needs to sleep in a bit" I answer her.

We continue to eat. After we are done and have cleared everything away, Ram comes into the kitchen. "I'm sorry" she says to me again and takes something to eat.

"No problem" I say to her "I'm going to the living room. When the doorbell rings please open the door yes? And Ram, when you are done could you please come into the living room?"

Ram just nods while she is and I go into the living room. There I turn on the TV and watch what is on the program.

The doorbell rings. I get up and go to the front door, but Hermione was faster and opens it.
