No she wasn't

As buffy went to cover her eye with her one free hand she felt some pulling on her. It was the crowd around her pulling on her arm keeping buffy from using it to cover her eye's. Normally anyone of these people individually wouldn't be a problem for buffy but as a group that was another story. Even if buffy could have taken them all it would have been difficult without seriously hurting any off them not that buffy had the time to do so even if she wanted to.

With the crowd holding her back as she struggled buffy wasn't able to cover her eyes in time as the flash of light from Warren's vessel hit her. As the light made contact with buffy the fingers in the hand she held Warren's vessel began to lose there grip till finally he fell to the floor below him. With buffys grip lost Warren watched though his vessel as buffys arm dropped to her side waiting for a sign that his planned worked.

Warren didn't have to wait long as buffys eye's began to turn bright white but even as Warren watched he noticed buffys eyes flickering between the bright white that signaled his power and her natural blue eye color. Buffy was fighting him off or at least trying to deciding not to take a chance Warren had his vessel stand up quickly and unleashed another burst of white light through him at buffy.
