The light starts to dim

After unleashing a second burst of his power at Buffy Warren watched as the blue in buffys eyes once more started to turn white. Again Buffy tried to resist but this time it was different before buffys eye's flickered between there normal shade of blue and the bright white that signaled Warren's power. This time though buffys eye's weren't so much fighting to break though as they we're just trying to hang on as more and more her eyes turned white till there was just a spec of blue left in each of them.

Warren watched in amazement as buffy continued to try and hang on the spec of blue that remained marking her defiance. It was a small sign but it was still a sign that Buffy was trying to hang on which frustrated Warren. He was so close he was almost in buffys mind he could feel his presence pushing more and more up against her engulfing her all that stood in his way was two tiny blue specs of defiance. As Warren frustration grew he ordered 3 of his vessels to inject the tranquilizers he gave them in to Buffy.

The three vessels reached into there pockets each pulling out a needle Warren had provided for them. If there were any trace of there true self left in them the three vessels would never do this thing they were about to do but these vessels weren't Buffy not only did they lack any fight left in them but the struggle they had given Warren was barley a struggle at all. Warren had to admit as he watched the three vessels remove the caps from there needles that as frustrating as buffys struggle was he also found enjoyment in it. Everyone else so far had been to easy didn't matter who they were each vessel easily fell into his power but not buffy like always Buffy was the stand out living up to her Fiery spirit. But like with all flames left going to long there was a risk of it spreading and as much as Warren wished he could keep this going longer he knew better then to give buffy even a spark to hang onto as he did the three other vessels to inject there medicine in to Buffy.

At Warren's instructions one needle went into buffys left shoulder as the other too were jabbed into her neck all that was left was for Warren to wait and watch as he once more pushed his presence onto buffy. Just when Warren was losing hope he noticed something in buffys right eye. The blue spec that had remained in buffys eye began to Flickr like a tiny flame trying to stay lit but to no avail as that once blue spec of defiance was engulfed by the white light of Warren's power. Even though he could feel his hold over buffy growing Warren watched for a few moments to make sure the blue spec didn't return he was to close to take anything for granted.

Warren waited minutes but still nothing the blue spec was truly gone well at least one of them was. One eye still contained a tiny blue spec in it but one eye was enough to keep Warren from fully having his prize. Being so close to his moment of victory Warren in frustration punched buffy in the stomach screaming "break all ready" as buffys body bent over.
