No, you arrive early

You arrived at your parents’ castle/mansion an hour early wearing comfortable clothing. You were carrying a briefcase full of money that your dad said would be enough to cover the buy-in. You also brought along Diana, Katara, Erza, and Gogo in their skimpy outfits and the purchase orders for the yet to be delivered characters (Kyouka Jirou, Hinata Hyuga and Gwen Tennyson); your dad had called to tell you to bring them as characters or vouchers are a typical bet in the later half of the poker night.

You drove your car around to the front door where a Toad valet walked up and took the car from you while everyone else piled out of the car. Each of your girls were wearing skimpy clothing to show off their worth and beauty.

“Here is your ticket, Master James,” the former Mushroom Kingdom citizen passed you a little slip of paper with a number on it. “You are the first one to arrive but the refreshments are already set up in the 1st floor north primary gaming room.”

“Why not the 1st floor east primary?” You ask, curious as you put the slip in your pocket. The 1st floor east primary gaming room is the larger room with a fully stocked bar and a cooking station. The north primary one had a smaller bar and the kitchen is a bit of a walk away. On the plus side it also had various plants around the room. The 1st floor east primary one had more though.

“There was an incident, we are currently cleaning it up but it won’t be done tonight,” Toad said as he drove off. You winced as the car jumped the curb and knocked over a metal box. You walked inside the castle with your girls following behind.

“I still don’t know what I am doing here,” Gogo said as she marveled at the decorations around the house. A few maids including Mitchelle were standing along the hallway with their arms pointed to guide people to the appropriate room.

“To be honest, I will be putting you up as a bet,” you replied as you waved at some of the maids.

“What?!” Gogo shouted in surprise, the other girls also gained surprised looks. “You think you can just…”

“I can and I will,” you say confidently. “Don’t worry, my dad says that if I lose you, I can just buy you back. They will take my girls over my dead body.” She glared at you, about to snap back when your dad appeared from a side hallway.

“Hello James, everyone should be arriving soon,” he said, his neatly styled handlebar mustache properly trimmed and oiled.

“Hey dad, you sure you don’t want to tell Hoofer about me being your son beforehand?” You ask as the question that has been sitting with you for the past couple of days, finally came out.

“Truthfully, I kinda forgot about that,” He says, causing your group to facepalm. When you all recovered, your dad continued. “It's fine, it's his fault for not picking up the phone. It will be a nice surprise!” Your dad gave a hearty laugh as he finished leading your group to where the Poker Night will be held.

“The bar is fully stocked with drinks at most 10 years old,” he said while a Tifa in a waitress outfit waved at you. “You can ask Tifa to order something from the kitchen or order from the interface each seat has.” He then pointed towards a large pen divided into sections. “Over there will be where your characters will need to stay during the game except for one you can keep at the table. If you lose them they have to move to their new owner’s section until you can win them back.”

You nodded and decided to choose what to do while waiting for when the other guests arrived…
