Night of the Auction.

A few day passed and now it was the night of the auction.

Ethan was adjusting his sports jacket, he would normally wear his favorite black jacket but now it was a formal auction, Wanda and Yor would he coming with him this time.

Wanda would be wearing a version of her scarlet witch costume without the head piece and was more of a formal dress then a costume.

Yor would be his bodyguard and second date wearing her Thorn Princess dress, as always she's happy to wear it.

They had to be at the SHH at around 9, the auction started at midnight.

Ethan walked to his car and saw his lovely ladies waiting for him, Ethan gave Wanda a kiss on the cheek and opened the passenger side door for her, Wanda rolled her eyes but entered without a word.

Yor got into the backseat without any complaints, Ethan got in the car and started to drive them to SHH.

"I'll finally see your work place." Wanda commented as she brushed her hair with her fingers, she looked stunning, he had to make sure he was presentable and having characters was like an accessory now so he had to make sure they looked good.

"Yeah, you'll have to wear something to signify that you belong to me and not the SHH, there is a Wanda Maximoff there." Ethan told her.

Wanda looked at him surprised. "What's she like?" She asked.

"She's from right before multiverse of madness." Ethan simply said. Wanda sighed and nodded, that Wanda was corrupted...

They arrived and went inside after handing Wanda and Yor bracelets to signify they're ownership.

Going inside the club, Ethan saw that the tables were moved aside and place in a manner that was facing the center of the whole room, the stage was missing it's poles, seemed about ready.

Wanda looked at the girls who were working to get the place ready. "Huh, they seem okay with all this." She muttered.

"They're being treated fairly, Susan made sure of that." Yor answered.

Ethan found Susan with a clipboard in her usual business attire, her hair in a bun.

"Everything ready?" He asked her.

"Yes sir, the guests are starting to arrive." Susan nodded as she saw men and woman with characters coming in.

Ethan went off to look for Yor and Wanda, he knew people would try to hit on them so he had to be quick.

After searching for 5 minutes and greeting some of the people who arrived, he found Wanda talking to someone's Spider-Gwen, her owner, he assumed was looking at Wanda and Yor with an expression he couldn't read.

"How long have you been with him?" Wanda asked Gwen. "Wanda, Yor, don't stray too far." Ethan came up to them and grabbed Wanda's hand in his own, he was protective, sue him.

"Sorry to bother you." Ethan apologized to the owner of Gwen.

"Nah it's alright, she's just making friendly conversation, you have a lovely Yor and Wanda." The man complimented.

Ethan gave the man a smile and nodded. "Thanks, you have a a lovely Gwen, oh and is Jiro yours as well?" He asked noticing the punk girl.

"That they be, though don’t let her hear you say that; she still hasn’t forgiven me for a mess up in her purchase order." The man chuckled.

"Oh i can understand that" Ethan nodded. "What's your name?" He asked, Wanda wrapped her arms around Ethan's arm in a protective manner.

"I’m James, James Gardner. I work over at Rein Corp." James introduced himself. "Where's the manager?"

Ethan grinned. "Well, the old manager had a bit of a incident with the law so we had to let him go, I'm the new manager, Ethan Kenway, manager and heir to the CCI." Ethan introduced himself.

Wanda rolled her eyes. "You don't have to be so dramatic dear."

"Where the fun in that?" Ethan sassed.

“Well, congrats on your…promotion?” “If you need anything or any one from Rein Corp let me know?” James hands Ethan the business card and takes it with a smile.

"Sure, will let you know if anything happens..." Ethan blinked and pondered at the question "Can't say I have but the name sounds familiar" he shrugged. "Also, your Jiro is talking to Mina who works here, looks like she's about to blow a fuse " Ethan looked past James.

“Gwen can you maybe…” “I’ll handle it” webs up Kyoka and brings her and Mina over. “Yeah… I need to domesticate her at some point but I can’t seem to catch a break” James sighed.

"OHH Hey sweetie!" Mina grinned at Ethan. "I was just chatting with this Jiro, she's a bit uptight about me working here."

"Nice to see you too Mina, this is Mina by the way, she actually likes working here if you can believe it."

“Now Kyoka, we don’t disparage people due to their job. Sorry about that, Mina.” Jame apologize to the pink girl “What do you like most about working here, what are the perks?” Mina raised an eyebrow due to how that sentence can be interpreted since it could be interpreted as James asking for himself.

Mina rubbed her chin and decided to answer. "Well, we can't leave and all, but working in the day shift is fun, kids are fun to play with and they see us as they're heroes it's adorable!" Mina grinned. "We also get our own living space which is big enough for all of us! Whatever tips we get turns into credits which we can use to get something we want." Mina explained. "And the living space has a time... Ehh." "Dilation" "time dilation function so we don't miss a wink of sleep!" Mina grinned

“Oh and by the way, why are these characters being auctioned instead of sent to the ‘Glue Factory’ like the old manager would.” James asked Ethan who blinked.

"Well the reason why we're doing this is to get back the money lost, the old manager bought these some of these troublesome characters with company money and with this auction we can get the money back and give the girls away to replace them." Ethan answered.

“I can respect that, hopefully I’ll be able to make them less troublesome,” said a bit arrogantly like James winning some is already a done deal. “Who do you think would make the better personal assistant?”

"Let's see, I'm not supposed to say but there's a Bat Girl from the Batman TAS universe and Jean Grey from the comics being sold, those two are good picks if you want an assistant, but you need to domesticate them." Ethan answered as Wanda raised an eyebrow. "Not the other me?" She asked. "Your more of a super powered house wife then an assistant."

Yor smiled. "Oh thank you." Ethan didn't say anything as he loved seeing Yor smile.

“Oh, if you aren’t supposed to say, then say no more. Hmmm, Jean might be good, especially with how Aelita and Star are getting” James scratched his cheek in thought. "Having another psychic around might be good once the kids are born. If they are like me and my siblings, we are going to need all the help we can get.”

"Oh your gonna have kids?" Ethan asked, "who's the mom?" Wanda started to day dream about having kids.

“My wives, Aelita Schaffer from Code Lyoko and Starfire are both pregnant though Aelita is farther along; Star was much more recent” James explained and Wanda was starting to go into the deep end.

"Oh congratulations... Wanda your powers are showing." Ethan looked at Wanda who bad a red mist around her and blinked, she shut her powers off and apologized.

“Ahsoka and Diana, have been a little different as well” Gwen comments offhandedly causing James to freeze before Gwen laughs teasingly. "Just kidding master... Probably."

Ethan smirked. "Heard of protection?" He asked teasingly. Susan walked over, ignoring the stares and cleared her throat. "Sir it's almost time." Susan looked at Ethan who nodded. "Alright, it was nice to chat, hope you enjoy." Ethan walked away with a wave as he followed Susan with his girls following.

"Nice talking with ya!" James waved as Ethan looked at Susan. "Do i have to do this?" Ethan asked.

"Yes sir it needs to be you." She sighed. Ethan simply grumbled and got on stage and took the microphone and took a deep breath, time to start
