New Student

The two brought Cardin to a big room, where a pretty sexy woman was waiting.

"And who are you?" she asked Cardin.

"My name's Cardin Winchester," said Cardin.

"He's got a really cool quirk," said Mina. "Show Midnight!"

Cardin pulled the remote from his pocket. Midnight saw it and gasped.

"That remote is--"

Cardin rapidly pressed pause on the girls. Right. Goodwitch had mentioned that the remote was known throughout the multiverse...it would make sense that this Midnight lady knew about it as well.

And now Cardin was in a pickle. If he unfroze Midnight now, she'd probably take the remote. He wasn't sure if awareness worked if a girl was paused, and if he changed the channel on someone as strong as Midnight, people could get suspicious. That said, he couldn't leave her frozen either...

It was then his eyes glanced upon the Input button. Maybe he could use this?
