Move to the Druids

We head out toward the druid grove, an awkward silence fallen over us.

Shadowheart: "We should reconsider travelling with Lae'zel before she gets us in any real trouble."

I decide better than to entertain that conversation and descend the stairs to a angry mob of teifling shouting at a couple of druids.

Komira: "Let us through Mragrashem! Or Ill rip your damn throat out!"

One of the druid roars as he turns into a bear and the Teiflings retreat back up the stairs. As they do, the lead lady sees us.

Komira: "You! I need your help! They have my daughter!"

Tav: "What? Why?"

Komira: "Because they're crazy! Shes just a little girl."

Tav: "Ill see what I can do."

I head down the steps and get stopped by the druid guards, as the bear roars again.

Jeorna: "Back away! No outsiders in the grove!"

One of the others whispers in her ear.

Jeorna: "I see. Go on, Kahga wants to talk to you"

With a simple nod, we head inside, to see a man and a woman towering over a teifling child, a viper posed to strike.

Tav: "What's going on here?"

Kahga: "This LEECH stole our most sacred idol in thanks for providing for them. And to defend the nest, the viper must strike."

Tav: "You've demonstrated your power, now demonstrate your grace. Let the girl go."

Kahga: "You speak wisdom. Go, child. Tell everyone of my Grace."

Arabella runs out of the room.

Kahga: "You showed great mettle at the gate."

Tav: "It was nothing for us."

Kahga: "I want you to offer your services to Zevlor. Escort his people from my grove."

Tav: "His people will die on the road. They arent fighters."

Kahga: "That is not my problem. What will it take to sweeten the deal?"

Lae'zel: "He requires his testicles emptied."

Tav: "What the fuck Lae'zel?"
