Morgana rolls a 3

Morgana winds up her arm like a baseball player and extends her arm out, and slowly lets the die roll from her hand onto the board. 3 dots appear face up.

“MAN, WHAT THE FUCK!” Morgana yells out.

“You suck at rolling,” Nora giggles.

“You suck at blowing luck onto my dice” Morgana angrily retorts.

“OOOOOOO, but it’s a yellow space this time!” Stephanie happily shared.

“AHHHH shit…wait, what does yellow do again?”

“Your face and/or head,” Cammy says.

“FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK, I like my face…” Morgana says in a dreary tone.

“Just take the card.”

Morgana drearily whips her arm over the yellow card and pulls it up to her face.

“Player four with a bad roll,

Maybe this change will help you console.

Your lips will be a nice sheath,

For some new and sharp teeth.”

“BRUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…” is slowly exhaled out of Morgana’s mouth. Juliette scooches over and puts an arm around Morgana. Morgana lowers her head to Juliette’s shoulder, who in turn puts her head on Morgana’s in a comfy embrace.

“Well, this one is surprisingly straightforward,” Hana says in a surprised tone.

“Not my teeth…” a sad voice mutter.

“I bet it won’t even be that bad.”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! MY TEETH ARE GONNA BE SHARP NOW! MY TONGUE IS GONNA FALL OUT WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY BITE IT!”

“Well, just…be more careful eating now.”

“Maybe eat the last of your sandwich and cookie now before you continue,” Cammy interjects.

“Thank you Cammy, that’s a good idea.”

Morgana quickly lifts her plate to her mouth and lets the remaining of her sandwich and cookie fall into her mouth. She quickly chews all the food together, swallows, and takes a large gulp of her coffee to wash it all down.

“Jesus, you could’ve eaten it normally,” Nora says with disgust.

“I could’ve, but I didn’t want to,” Morgana utters.

“Why would this one be straightforward when the others weren’t?” Stephanie mentions with a confused tone.

“Maybe cause it’s a yellow space, not as significant as a green or red space.”

“MY TEETH ARE CHANGING SHAPE! WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘NOT AS SIGNIFICANT’?!”

“THAT SOUNDS A LOT BETTER THAN HAVING SOMETHING CHANGE ABOUT YOU MENTALLY AND NOT KNOWING IT!” Nora yells back.

Both Nora and Morgana look at Stephanie who gives the two a quick wave.

“....OKAY, YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT…BUT MY TEEEEEEETH…” Morgana says dramatically.

“Are you done eating? Hurry up and continue.”

Morgana pulls out her phone and smiles at the front camera before taking a photo.

“I just want a nice photo with normal teeth before this card affects me,” she says while fake crying.

“You’re so dramatic.”

“Okay okay,” Morgana takes another dramatic pause. “I continue”

The card’s bright yellow back slowly fades into black. All the girls look at her again in anticipation. The change occurs, Morgana feels a strange tug and movement in her mouth for a quick moment before it goes back to feeling ‘normal’. Morgana keeps her mouth closed and turns away from the other girls.

“I want to see it first,” she says, pulling out her phone again. She pulls up the camera and turns on the frontal view to her face.

“OH MY GOD…it’s actually not that bad.” Morgana dramatically announces.

“Well, let us see then.”

Morgana puts her phone away and turns towards the group again and smiles. Where there were once nice square teeth, are now all changed into triangular teeth. Her smile is still complete as the triangles do fill the gaps in between teeth, giving the girl a still full-mouth look.

“Wow…you’re right, that's not even that bad.”

“They feel really weird,” Morgana says as she brushes her tongue across her new set of chompers. She closes her mouth again, her tongue exploring all the places it can reach in her mouth.

“Are they sharp?”

Morgana holds her thumb up to some teeth to feel them across her finger.

“Uhhh kinda, they are pointy, they feel stronger too.”

Morgana reaches over for another cookie and demonstrates her biting to the group. Almost like a shark biting, Morgana bites down on the cookies, which break in a much cleaner fashion than her old teeth. She holds up the cookie to everyone, who sees the cookie with triangular sections taken out. She tries to chew with her mouth closed but realizes that she is struggling to do so.

“Uhhhh…itsh a little difficult to chew,” Morgana says with an open mouth and a partially chewed cookie.

“Maybe chew with your mouth open?”

Morgana dramatically opens her mouth before closing her teeth back down again. Another loud crunch came from her.

“Oh yeah, thatsh much better,” she demolishes the cookie with her mouth open.

“Oh great, now she chews with her mouth open.”

“So…when someone gets a yellow card, it says ‘face AND/OR head’, does that mean Morgana got the ‘or’ option and not the ‘and’ option?”

“It seems that way.”

“So, there’s still a chance that someone could get a change to both their face and head.”

“Hold on, I wanna try something.” Morgana interrupts the discussion.

Morgana runs into the kitchen and grabs a wooden spoon. She places the spoon in her mouth and appears to bite down hard on it. The spoon quite easily snaps into two under the pressure of the newly designed teeth.

“HOLY SHIT! THIS IS COOL!”

“Someone took a real 180 for their change.”

“Wait! Come over here. I want a picture.” Stephanie says to Morgana. Morgana leaves the kitchen and stands next to Stephanie. Stephanie pulls her phone out and starts inspecting the new teeth Morgana has.

“Fascinating,” she mumbles while taking pictures.

“So does this mean that the more drastic the change, the more complex the riddle on the card is?”

“I don’t think we have had enough changes yet to make that assumption yet.”

“We still haven’t hit blue, black, purple, or pink.”

“Hmmmm, I guess you’re right. But we should keep that idea in mind the further into the game we get.”

“Caaan I close my mouf naw?”

“Oh, yes”

Morgana heads back to her spot around the board.

“Don’t worry girls, even though I’m now behind, I’ll win this for you,” Morgana says in a smug tone.

“Yeah right, watch this.” Nora grabs the dice after Morgana’s roll.

Nora shakes the die in her hand before holding it in her palm to Morgana.

“Give it a quick bite sharky,” Nora says with a smug smile.

Morgana slowly lowers her head and bites on the dice softly before letting go.

“Thanks” Nora then throws the dice out onto the board.
